We celebrated my daughter’s 4th birthday here and the owners were very helpful & accommodating throughout the whole party. The kids loved it-Definitely a cute and fun place for a birthday!

I recently visited Scoops in Madison, GA, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Upon arrival, no one greeted us or acknowledged our presence. However, when a caucasian couple walked in, they were immediately welcomed. This was the first red flag.
While we were waiting in line, the employee (a tall, skinny individual with dark brown hair) was making a milkshake for a customer who had arrived after us. Meanwhile, another employee (short, with a heavier build) stopped washing dishes to assist the white couple who came in again after us, yet we still had not received any attention or acknowledgment.
It was incredibly disheartening to experience such blatant racism. The two young ladies working on Sunday, July 15, 2025, at 7:32P.M showed a lack of professionalism and courtesy that I find unacceptable. Every customer, regardless of their ethnic background, deserves to be treated equally and with respect. A simple greeting or acknowledgment would have gone a long way in making us feel valued as customers.
I will not be returning to this location, and I strongly encourage the management to address these issues. All customers should be treated with fairness and respect, no matter who they are.

Gotta say I’m really disappointed in my experience. First off the remodel does look really nice, though I miss the old timey toys that used to be on display. However the scoops are much smaller than the previous ones. A single scoop now is the size of the old kid scoops. I finished mine in about 5 bites. Lastly, and this is the big one, they refused to accept a gift certificate I had for my daughter. I was told the old owner already made that money and the new one would lose money. What about the money I spent on it for her? That’s terrible customer service. Honestly how many old gift cards are out there? I would bet not many and that’s something they should’ve eaten.

Just reopened the store “Original Scoops Madison”. Great job with the remodel! The store has been transformed. It is very vibrant and inviting!
As an Ice Cream Expert that travels looking for the greatest ice cream experience, it was a wonderful experience to stop in here!
They carry great flavors (32). The customer service was top notch! I do wish they carried some unique flavors 🙂 🍦

We were visiting Madison for the day and stumbled upon Scoops. The store is awesome!!!! Being an 80s kid, I loved the Garbage Pail Kids, pez, old school chewing gum, and SO MUCH MORE. We all got ice cream. There's such a great selection of ice cream and cones. He has all different kinds of candy dipped cones too plus chocolates, candy apples and so much more.

Stopped in at 7:50 on a Friday night. Says open til 8. Doors were locked. Pretty bummed out Could have easily scooped out our ice cream before 8. Bottom line, doors should not be locked til 8. This was on 6-14-24
Always a great place for ice cream. We go about once a month. The staff could be a little more inviting and extra freindly with smiles. They act over worked

Omg! As I stepped in, a feeling hit me : happiness! That is a very happy place! Colorful and animated, inviting and, let's not forget, delicious!! The owner was there, incredibly friendly and helpful, the girls at the counter fast and ready to suggest something to reach your expectations! Lots of candy, chocolate, chocolate covered ..anything-so fun!! Clients in and out permanently. Oh, and the different types of cones...covered in chocolate, sprinkles, big and small for all wishes.It was worth the drive. I will surely bring my guests there, too!!

I wanted dessert after lunch and it was a 3 minute walk to Scoops. I haven't been here in years and I was plenty excited to go. I had every intention of getting ice cream but decided on some little treats instead. Two turtles, two white chocolate-covered oreos and a cotton candy slushie definitely hit the spot and the price wasn't too bad (around $7). I enjoyed looking at the memorabilia displayed throughout the store also. Only one person working, that I saw. She wasn't rude, but not very friendly either.
