We had a superb dinner at the dining room this past Friday! We stayed at the Georgia Safari Conservation Park and made the quick trip into Madison to The Dining Room. The decor and atmosphere are on point - the music and lighting set the tone - you know you are somewhere special when you walk in the door and take it in! The service was excellent - thank you Andrew! Andrew also created our cocktails and did not disappoint. Everyone we came in contact with was warm, welcoming and wonderful!
I haven’t even commented on the meal yet!! Delightful, delicious, creative, surprising are all words that apply. The plates were gorgeous and Chef killed the presentation. We chose the Chef’s Selection 4 course menu with wine pairings. We were not disappointed. I told my husband that the actual course experience blew away the description (impressive) of the course on the menu…. This is rare and seldom happens. Don’t miss dessert… The Dining Room excels at all things baked, whipped, creamed and sugared!
It was my 60th birthday and it was amazing! Thanks you for making it so memorable and special. We will be back!

A truly unique, and enjoyable experience! I would definitely give yourself about 2 to 3 1/2 hours for a dinner here, it was a nice change of pace from the rushed dinners at most restaurants. As lifelong foodies from the Pacific Northwest, my wife and I moved to Georgia 11 years ago. Despite our best efforts, finding good food in the South had been a challenge. We tried every restaurant within 50 miles of our home, only to be disappointed time and again. Eventually, we resigned ourselves to staying home, investing in cooking utensils and ingredients to create our own culinary experiences.
Each year for our anniversary, we give a new restaurant a try, usually with low expectations. But this year, The Dining Room in Madison broke our losing streak in the best way possible!
From the moment we walked in, the staff ensured we had a wonderful experience. The decor set the stage for an enjoyable night out, and the chef absolutely KILLED IT! The food was phenomenal; there are words to describe how perfect everything was, but they just don't seem to do it justice.
Every dish was a revelation, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The attention to detail and passion in the kitchen truly shone through. We left The Dining Room with full hearts and even fuller stomachs, excited to come back and explore more of their amazing creations.

Our dinner here was one of the most delicious I have ever had. The service was everything one could wish for - relaxed and friendly yet perfectly attentive. The restaurant has two prix fixe options (four and three course options) but one can order a la carte, and our group of four decided to do that. In addition to the three courses we ordered, we were also brought an amuse bouche and then three small lovely sweet treats at the end of the meal (we had not ordered a dessert course). I highly recommend this restaurant!
