We drove from jenkinsburg to check it out. We love the atmosphere, music and views but the food was a major disappointment. There was only 3 tables when we were there. We ordered wings, hamburger, curds and drinks. Wings were not cooked well and no seasoning, burger was overcooked and curds and tots tasted like the were from a frozen bag. Beer was cold but no draft.
My family and I have been to Bear Creek twice. The food is ok and what you would expect for a restaurant on the lake. My biggest complaint is that I ordered a cheeseburger each time and in both instances the burger was raw and bleeding. I don’t eat raw red meat. The manager the first time gave me credit and the second time made me another one. The staff is always nice and helpful. That will bring me back. Food and atmosphere were amazing! They had several screens to watch the game and the wait staff was very attentive. However, the dessert was a MUST HAVE. The berry tiramisu was amazing, I could have had two!
