A hidden treasure! Excellent food that is well seasoned and very tasty! The servers were also very excellent. All this in a laid back and very cozy atmosphere. The chef also came out to enquires about our experience. Highly recommended!!

Wonderful place. Had Bailey as server and she did a great job. Garret came out of the kitchen to talk with us about the Grouper, Scallops. They do nice inventive work with the food. We sat inside one night and outside the next. Both great areas. Nice, welcoming feel.

Good drink. Decent atmosphere. Sat at the bar… tapping my fingers, waiting. A young woman made me a drink. Several other young women came behind the bar. No greetings. No checking Overall the experience felt unwelcoming.

Rick and the entire staff provide a plethora of fine wine and dining options. They feature the freshest day boat catch that is responsibly sourced, USDA prime aged steaks and regional local produce. The wine list, both in provisions and the dining room are priced extremely well given the gravity of the current economic market. The previous reviews that complain about pricing and expensiveness are not eating in Metro Atlanta. A 16oz prime ribeye is selling easily for $95-$120 a steak. Thank you Rick for sacrificing profit over quality. Some patrons just don't get it!

The service was awesome, but the atmosphere and the food were not that great. Prices were too high for the quality of food and drinks. If you like spending more money, then this is the place for you.

Wine down Wednesdays, been several times and the wine pairing with the courses was excellent. Love learning about new wines. Fun time!

Was hoping for an excellent meal, ended up being satisfactory. Waitress and chef were friendly.

We had a wonderful meal here. We enjoyed the seafood mixed grill and the Branzino. The service was impeccable and the pacing of the courses was perfect. Our waitress was knowledgeable about an interesting wine list. We loved the ambiance of the outside courtyard. Can’t wait to come back.

My husband and I dined here for his birthday recently and were blown away! We lived in NYC for almost a decade and had lots of 5 star meals in the process, but Sourwood now has a place on our list of favorite meals. The steaks were cooked perfectly, the sauces were divine and the creamed spinach and smashed potatoes were the perfect compliment to our meal. We also had the sweetest server who held her own as the hostess, server and bartender and anticipated our needs. We will be back!

The steaks are always great and the wine selection is mediocre. Not many chicken or vegetarian options. I hate they took the airline chicken off the menu. We have been here twice and both times never got anyone to come back to get refills on our drinks. The chef did come out and make sure that my husbands steak was good. 4 stars for location and the steak quality.

Excellent Service, every dish I've had is amazing. Any Steak or fish dish is the way to go! Call to book reservations, bc they book up on weekends.

Sourwood is probably the nicest restaurant up in this area, but we were super underwhelmed. Irbid a cute restaurant and the menu sounded good, but the execution was pretty poor. Nothing tasted fresh except for the salad, which was very under seasoned. None of the food was gross or inedible. But none of it was really good. Definitely not interesting or inventive. Even if it was just good old southern food, it could’ve been done much better. Probably won’t come back.

Dinner last night was AMAZING. We had the chopped salad and sourdough rolls. Then the fried chicken and honey pie for dessert. This is one of the best meals we have ever had. We couldn’t have been happier. Great service by the bartender as well.
