The gumbo was as close to authentic gumbo I have ever eaten. It was delicious. The grouper and hush puppies were good as well.

It’s been a minute since I had eaten here—definitely pre-Covid. Smaller than it once was, and no longer serving beer. But we had a friend visiting from California who wanted gumbo, so we paid a visit. AJ’s was better than I remembered, and everything was quite good. Gumbo, fish dip, and hush puppies were top-notch, and the guys thoroughly enjoyed their oysters and shrimp. Will definitely be back, and won’t wait so long between visits next time.

Authentic New Orleans food, friendly staff, fun ambiance. The staff we also very understanding that our autistic child was struggling with sitting still and being quiet (outdoors).

Been stopping in for years and still a must go when I come back to Atlanta for work. The soft shell crab po boy is amazing. My son had the shrimp po boy and it was overflowing. Got the side of jambalaya and could have had 20 more.

Went there yesterday for lunch, OMG SO GOOD!!!!!!!!! Food, service, everything was awesome. Key Lime Pie with the Lime Margarita Mousse was excellent. It was so good before we left there were 3 elderly woman that came in so proper sitting down eating and just having a good time with each other, we anonymously bought them dessert since my wife and I miss our grandmothers. People great food and atmosphere, worth every pennt.

I found this location online, and decided to patronize this business. I went last Saturday and had a bad experience. I dined in, and the young guy that took my order kept acting like he didn't understand what I wanted to order. I wanted the seafood platter with everything it come with, 2 extra pieces of catfish, and a side of red beans/rice. When he finally got my order right the older Caucasian guy working the front with the (glasses and baseball hat) brought me my food. He literally threw it on the table like I was a damn dog. I was trying to tell him I wanted some plastic ware, and he looked at me like I was crazy. I asked him if it was a problem, and he said (we are really busy so I'm in a rush). I then saw I didn't have my fries that came with the platter. I also only had 2 pieces of catfish, but I thought that's all the waiter rung me up for. He then told me it was either or, and I explained to him what I originally ordered. He looked at me, and said (yeh ok) with a attitude. Then walked off, and a few minutes later brought me my fries. Now I was the only (African American) in the restaurant besides another African American woman that had just walked in sitting at the bar. I noticed how my waiter was only catering to all of the Caucasian's in the restaurant that where dining in. He only asked me if, I needed something (once). I was watching if the older Caucasian guy with the glasses who was very rude to me was even catering to the African American woman at the bar. He only asked her (once) if she needed something, and everybody else he was talking to, laughing with, and asking repeatedly how could he help them. When my ticket came they charged me for 3 pieces of catfish when they only gave me 2 pieces. My waiter told me he thought they gave me 3 pieces, and I told him no I thought he only rung me up for 2 since that is all that came with my order. He had them fix the receipt and I paid it. I then told him I'm going to still tip him even though he only checked on me once. He didn't apologize nor say thank me for the tip. He said they where really busy and he was trying to get stuff together before they close. What do that have to do with giving me good customer service like he was doing with everybody else? The place is soooooo RACIST AND I WILL NEVER IN MY LIFE COME HERE AGAIN! They most definitely HATE black people and don't want US IN THEIR ESTABLISHMENT. The way my waiter treated me and the way the guy at the front treatment me is inexcusable. I can only imagine how many people of color they treat like this on a daily basis. They only want to cater to Caucasians and try to treat people of color lesser than. I can't believe they have been in business this long treating paying customers like this. Every employee I encountered at this restaurant is most definitely prejudice, and they shouldn't even be in business if they only want to cater to ONE RACE!

So good! Ordered food and it was hot and ready when Picked up. The Cajun egg rolls are delicious. Very nice and accommodating staff. Would highly recommend

Great New Orleans style food. Everything is fresh, and a great value for your buck. Had most everything on the menu, it all has been stellar.

So disappointed. This used to be one of my favorites. They have redone the menus and are now nickel and diming you. No more sandwich and side. If you want fries that will be extra. And they raised all the prices too. And don't plan on using your credit card without paying a use fee. They couldn't even reprint the menus. They xeroxed them and just used a sharpie to write their new prices. The food is still good but you are going to pay dearly for it. Good management would have marked up the prices a few bucks and called it a day but they are making it known they are going to squeeze every cent from you. We won't be back.

This is me of those places you have to try when you are in Destin. We had a couple drinks and some oysters. The oysters were super fresh. The view is great to see all the boats. Great place to kick back and relax.

There are few places that can compare to this establishment. The food is so good! It always meets my high expectations and always tastes fresh. I definitely don't mind driving out of my way to pick up some of their delicious food!
