“I was here Saturday for a friend’s birthday and paid $34.98 for my meal. I didn’t tip because the food was bland and not worth it. The waitress and host were unkind when we arrived, and to make it worse, the waitress/restaurant took it upon themselves to add a $7 tip without my consent. That is extremely rude and dishonest. I will never be coming back.”

Friendly staff, entertaining hibachi cooks, and not too crowded on a weekend. The food is definitely fine, but it's not going to wow you. Great option for an easy neighborhood hibachi joint.

The food was on par with most hibachi places but the service was very slow. We only waited 15 minutes to be seated, but it took another 45 minutes before they even started. We have a full table at the 20 minute mark.

Food was prepared well, it just took a really long time. Then, from the chef leaving to getting an ice cream desert was another 20 minutes. Customers were actually getting their own to-go containers and just leaving. 2 hours for dinner just seems too long.

We have always loved our nights at Asahi and still do. We came in late to enjoy a Hibachi dinner and despite it being a slow evening, we were seated and served promptly even though it was only my wife and I.

We didn't wait long for our first course of soup and salad and the main course event was not far behind. The food and drinks were great. Everything was served piping hot and timely. Not to mention delicious!

We highly recommend and will definitely be coming back soon!

We love Asahi. It is always our go-to when we want hibachi.
The sushi is fantastic and the hibachi is always great. The chefs are so much fun and really make it enjoyable for everyone!

Looking to try a new sushi spot and came across other great reviews of Asahi so we gave it a try tonight. Our waiter Daniel was very attentive and provided great recommendations on different roles and each one was delicious. We can’t wait to come back and try more rolls as our stomachs ran out of room. A few rolls we tried, Johnson Ferry, Love Love and Atomic Bomb all amazing and would order again. We can’t wait to go back with friends.

Just a really nice and relaxed restaurant. The food was top notch...we ate at the hibachi...and the chef was funny with his performance all while making sure the food was fixed correctly. They were very attentive to my allergies to seafood, also.

love coming here, and can you really go wring with hibachi? friendly staff and great food!

Called ahead and put our name on the list and was told wait time would be 5-10 minutes when we arrived at 5:30. Arrived at 5:28 and host told us that no hibachi tables were available even though we were told otherwise on the phone. Host was super rude and blamed it on other employee. Wow! First time attempting to go here and won’t be back. Don’t waste your time going here!

The service was phenomenal, they are very friendly, professional and attentive. The place was clean and well kept. As far as the food, well it was not bad but it wasn’t mind blowing either as far as the flavors. It’s definitely a decent place to eat. I’ll come back and try again for sure. Their sake was pretty good too. Come check it out for yourself but be prepared to spend around $40 per person at least.

If you don’t love this place you’re a uptight. The show is awesome. Oscar is hilarious. The shrimp was perfect the rice was delicious. And ice cream to top it off. We’ve been here over 20 times.

In fairness to the restaurant I should really be giving this place zero stars since I never made it past the hostess stand. We had a reservation which was neither acknowledged nor found upon check in. Actually, there was no check in since we waited ten minutes for anyone to greet us. After speaking with several other people in line, we realized we were not the only ones faced with this dilemma. With severe hunger setting in, we left and went to a different hibachi restaurant which was absolutely wonderful.
