I have no complaints, the food was amazing and the sweets were perfect. When my kid was having a tantrum a sweet blond lady came over and gave out free cookies. Great service by Jesse as well, gave us a good price and a sample rumball.

First time here and we had breakfast quiche and breakfast wrap. Both were delicious and the prices were affordable. Service was great! We will definitely be back.

Australian Bakery Cafe is ruining my life. They have so many different foods from sandwiches to breakfast options to meat pies to cakes and pastries to even just frozen goods to take home. and they're. all. so. delicious. I eat here at least three out of five of my work days. It's become so that I can barely justify going to anywhere else on the Square to eat. My friends and coworkers are now concerned because I suggest Australian Bakery for every meal. I think they're planning an intervention for me. It's to the point where the staff know my voice over the phone or have already started to prepare my usual order as soon as they see me walking down the sidewalk. "Oh lawd he comin", they say. If I had a wife, I would be in danger of her leaving me because this would be all I ever want to take her out to.

Stopped for an afternoon treat and pick up croissants for the morning. I felt overwhelmed with all the wonderful treats to choose from. Ellen suggested the chocolate lover dessert which was incredible! Also picked up some macaroon.

We found Ellen very professional and helpful. However there was some other staff conversation around the register that was not appropriate in front of customers. The restaurant was clean and enjoyed the outdoor seating.

I live in Washington, D.C., but I stumbled upon this place on Google Maps. You see, I’ve been craving those delicious pies I had back in Australia when I lived there for seven years.

The first time I tried them, it was during the summer. And guess what? They managed to keep the pies frozen when I received them! From that moment on, I’ve been ordering from them every chance I get.

I highly recommend their meat and chicken pies, as well as their potato cakes. They’re simply to die for!

We enjoyed our first time visiting. The food was great and hit the spot. We got a breakfast plate and a breakfast sandwich. It was a beautiful day out and the doors were propped open, unfortunately because of that we spent our meal swatting flies and knats. Maybe a fan or something by the door would help? We also had trouble finding a clean table so, I knocked off a star for that. Rather than trouble anyone we just clean off a table ourselves and sat down. Overall, the staff, the food, the price, the atmosphere were all great and get a four star from us. We will look forward to coming again.

Accessibility: There is one half step at the entrance, a stroller or lightweight manual chair may be able to pop up over it easily but, a heavy powerchair or power scooter may not be able to overcome the step. Some of the popup menu signs closest to the door may add an additional barrier to entering in a wheelchair.

I casually stopped in to see what they had and I was not disappointed! They have a plethora of savory and sweet baked goods and baked meal options as well as a small groccery section. I had the Outback Peperjack Pastie and I happily took my left overs home. My desert was delicious as well. The business has the old local feel that many small businesses used to have. I will definitely come back in the future.
