Been here a few times but never had an issue until yesterday. Called ahead to order some food for pick up. Business hours say they open at 12p. I called around 12 30p to place an order. The person who answered the phone did inform me that it was brunch during that time but that the cook should be able to accommodate me and to give them 15 to 20 mins. Since it was still a bit early I gave it about 30 mins to pick it up. I get there the doors are locked, no open sign on but I hear the music. Call the same number to inform them that I'm outside but the doors are locked and the gentleman tells me he will let the cook know. Note that I'm now here at the spot by 1pm. I waited in the parking space close to 15 mins when I see a car pull up and park near me. I happen to look up and the open sign is now on. Getting out my car and walking to the door, both both doors are still locked. Had to leave and find somewhere else to go. Don't know if my order was ever really prepared. Sucks cause I've never had that issue before but if it's supposed to be open at 12p...doors shouldn't have been locked even after 1p. Food is good, but don't know if I will return.

Stopped by Bar 44 last night for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. For a Saturday night, the vibe was low-key with awesome music — not too loud, just right. We were able to grab a booth, relax, enjoy drinks, and smoke hookah without feeling rushed or crowded.
Bre was our server and she was 15/10 — super personable, extremely attentive, and genuinely made the experience even better. She left us already looking forward to coming back just to see her again.
Definitely a place I’d recommend, and we’ll for sure be back.
Janessa is the best. She had great service and very knowledgeable. Me and my crew had a great time with her!
