Best breakfast I've had in forever. Super friendly staff. Every dish for our group was excellent. I recommend the bacon-infused pecan pancakes with fried chicken.

Friday's fish fry is over the moon. I had the cod and it was fabulous.

Came here for a brunch kinda a celebration, a group of girls after wedding dress shopping. We were informed they were short staffed and the guy taking orders was not the usual person doing so but he did ok just slow. They were out of several things we tried to order. I mean they serve breakfast all day but were out of biscuits. Really??? Make more! Anyway, coffee was good, food was good. The reason for the low rating is this. There were 5 of us. They brought the food out asking who ordered what and placed the food in front of us and simply walked away. As they were walking away on girls said “I’m missing my bacon” and the employee turned around and said it’s coming! I only have two hands!
In my opinion she should have said “I’ll be right back with your bacon when she placed her eggs in front of her. Am I wrong? So rude, no excuse for this! I have no desire to go again.

Went to dine here and waited in line a few minutes before the cashier told us “they weren’t taking more orders because there was no more seats”. Meanwhile, my husband was waiting at a table for me and the entire bar facing the window had open seats as well as the patio? I’m not sure why they halt orders when this is an order at the counter place.

Jim , the owner really makes this place outstanding. He was friendly and very accommodating. He personally came outside to converse with us as we had our puppy with us. It's very dog friendly here. He had great stories and food was delicious. He payed attention to everyone in the restaurant. We will definitely be coming back here. Thank you Jim for the wonderful experience

First the good: it’s a bright, airy place with lots of tables, but no booths. It’s very clean and welcoming. The pancakes were delightful and there was a nice tea selection.

The disappointment began with the view. One of the reviews mentioned there was outdoor seating with a nice view. The outdoor seating is picnic tables in the parking lot-not much of a view of anything. This is not an issue for the proprietor, because he shouldn’t be held responsible for someone else’s perception, but I was disappointed.

You order at the counter and pay when you place your order. Unfortunately, they ask you to tip when you pay. I hope the tip goes to the kitchen staff, because the only service we received was the delivery of our food. No one checked on us after it was delivered. We refilled our own drinks at the self-service drink dispenser. I’m not sure what the tip was for nor why they expected one. It was on the expensive side: two entrees, a drink, tax and tip was over $30.

As I mentioned previously the pancakes were delightful, but the vegetable skillet was overfilled with Brussels sprouts and not much else. The English muffin was warm but not toasted. I could not get anyone’s attention to ask them to toast it a bit more.

My conclusion is it’s a nice neighborhood place, but I wouldn’t drive out of my way to go there.

Best Chicken ever! I love the Nashville hot sauce - tangy with a little torch! The macaroni and cheese and collard greens are yummy and come in nice large containers. When it’s nice eating outside is a great option.

Vegetarian options: There are vegetables on the menu without meat products but this is a chicken place.

Parking: Close to Kennesaw Mountain, so hike to earn that chicken

Excellent find. Close to Marietta medical offices around the hospital. All three of our orders were wonderful. We had:
- French Toast and Fried Chicken
- Bacon/praline pancakes and Fried Chicken
- Smash burger with side Caesar Salad
The chicken was cooked perfectly, crispy and moderately/heavily seasoned and salted. The praline/bacon topping for the pancakes was a great touch. My son enjoyed the Smash Burger and the Caesar salad dressing was not too garlicky but just right with plenty of parmesan grated cheese tossed in.
Jim, the owner, is very personable and introduced himself to each table. His Louisiana roots were apparent in many of the menu items. Even though it is almost 30 minutes away from our home, we will be back to try more of the menu. The restaurant was clean and well cared for. Thank you Jim for a great experience.
Watch their hours. Some online information has the wrong hours. According to their website they are currently open 9am-2pm on Mon-Friday and 8am-2pm on Sat-Sun.

Parking: Plenty of parking for the restaurant that was roughly half full during MLK day.
