We recently moved to the area and just discovered the square in downtown Marietta. When asking for a place for a late lunch, Bottega Italian Market was recommended to us by a local art gallery. It was so amazing. The focaccia bread sandwich and pizza was delicious and reminded us of pizza we had last year when visiting Venice. We met the owner and had a great conversation. The market has many authentic Italian food items. We can’t wait to go back. So good!

I’ve been coming here for a year since moving to Marietta. I really love to cook and what had initially had me hooked on this place is that they have ingredients from Italy that won’t break the bank but are restaurant grade quality or higher.

The restaurant smells like Italy - the fragrance of fresh bread, dry aged meat, and delicious cheeses. They sell sandwiches, pizzas, and gelato but also have a small grocery store of products from Italy. The pecorino romano cheese is the best I've found in Marietta - sharp, fresh, and clean (not overly oily or progressed flavored).

Although they don't serve gluten-free pizza or bread, they do have sanza glutine noodles in the grocery section.
