Carol's is one of those special little places that seems like your own. You feel so welcomed and the waitresses are wonderful to talk with. They take time for conversation which feels so good, in these fast paced times. Very reasonable menu prices. The building reminds you of a hidden, off the road old place in the mountains, but that just adds to its charm. Don't be disappointed that it isn't fancy. Just enjoy the charm and relax.

Quiet little spot for breakfast or lunch. I tried the fried catfish with onion rings and my husband had the bologna sandwich. Both were great. The catfish had a gorgeous thin breading with a touch of spice it flaked easily under a fork or finger. The bologna sandwich was thick and fried perfectly.

Good country food. Fast service. But two complaints : cheap,cheap toilet paper. Why ? Secondly,charging $4 bucks for one glass of tea reflects poorly on otherwise solid Southern cafe.
