Had a great meal. Although there could have been a little more chicken in the, Ropa Virja Bowl, mixture as it was mostly onions, but still fantastic.
Great cuban sandwich and bowls. Fair priced as well.
Excellent service from the workers, especially the girl Mariana who is super attentive and very friendly, very good service
This Cuban restaurant located near Marietta Square brings a taste of Havana to the area. While they no longer have congris the separation of the rice and beans. The sweet plantain was absolute perfection! The meat, was perfectly seasoned, I could see an older Cuban lady a Tia dancing as she made the sauces. I am EXTREMELY biased but my goodness the food is good and pretty authentic.
Sandwich overpriced and did not come close to being authentic.
Good food, good serving sizes, take out on dine in the shared dining spaces.
Walking into D’Cuban Café feels like stepping into a charming Havana street corner, complete with rich Cuban culture, vibrant colors, and warm hospitality. Nestled inside the Marietta Square Market, this cozy spot instantly caught my attention with its vintage decor, Cuban flag pride, and an inviting open kitchen.
The Food:
I tried the Wednesday bowl special — Lechón Asado — a generous serving of tender roasted pork over fluffy white rice and black beans, accompanied by sweet plantains. The flavors were bold and well-balanced, highlighting the authenticity of the dish. The pork was marinated perfectly, with a citrusy mojo that brought the whole bowl together. On the side, I enjoyed a Dulce de Leche pastelito, which was delightfully flaky and just sweet enough to round out the meal.
Their green dipping sauce deserves a mention — creamy, garlicky, and fresh. It elevated every bite.
Drinks & Variety:
The café offers a wide range of Latin sodas alongside classics like Mexican Coca-Cola and Perrier. I appreciated the attention to regional drink options, which adds another layer of cultural richness.
Ambience & Service:
The service was friendly and quick, and I loved how the space was both visually appealing and efficient. Despite the market setting, D’Cuban Café creates a focused, intimate experience for food lovers.
Final Thoughts:
D’Cuban Café is a hidden gem for anyone craving genuine Cuban comfort food. The flavors are on point, the presentation is thoughtful, and the weekly bowl specials offer excellent value at just $9.95. It’s a spot I’ll definitely be returning to, and one I’d recommend to both locals and tourists alike.

I'm a Miami native and feel confident in saying that the Cuban sandwich here is the real deal. The coffee is also amazing. I had a cortadito. Cuban coffee is generally very strong. So you may want to stay away if U only like creamer with a splash of coffee flavor!

First our buzzer never buzzed, so food was cold. Cuban Sandwich was OK, ham croquetas were bland, one empanada was empty. Underwhelmed.

I ordered food through Uber eats. Ordered 2 veggie bowls. Unfortunately both bowls were missing the plantains and the avocado. I got a bowl of rice, beans and peppers/onions.
Food was good otherwise.

So I work in the area and had Door Dash delivery since they were offering a discount on door dash. It was definitely the worst Cuban bowl I’ve ever had. The rice was too firm, white, plain & flavorless. The black beans the same -tasteless. The Ropa meat was tasty but not nearly enough of it. I threw away the avocado as it had the black track marks indicating it was not fresh. I wasted my hard earned money. I should have tried La Cubana next door. It’s better by far.
