Fresh donuts sandwich!? I never knew this existed and I’m so happy I discovered it. Sausage, egg and cheese on a doughnut with bacon and a maple drizzle!!!!!! Be still my beating arteries.
Christine the owner, was so friendly and gave me suggestions for my first visit. The environment is super cute inside they have merchandise and tables to eat up. Parking lot is easy to find a parking space. I highly recommend. 10 out of 10 way to go Duck Donuts.

Excellent old fashioned cake style donuts. Of course you can layer all the pickings on top with your choice of seemingly endless toppings. The classic glazed is to die for, and the vanilla cinnamon glazed almost made me cry, especially fresh. Not the best spot to dine but it seems that they’ve made it built for grab and go donuts.

As a self-proclaimed donut aficionado (and having been to the original in the Outer Banks), I love this place!! Similar to Mini-Bar or DaVinci Donut, this “build your own donut” shop is guaranteed fun for the family! The donuts themselves are not made until you order (versus pre-cooked and awaiting topping)! WHAT?!?!?! Better yet, you are not limited to the number of donut flavors ordered - you can order as many donut types as donuts, where other stores may limit you to one type per two donuts ordered, and capping at four flavors. The staff were VERY customer oriented: helpful and friendly!! On this visit, we purchased four different flavors for our fresh donuts: 1. Cinnamon Sugar: The OG of donut flavors, this was down right nostalgic in all the right ways!! Absolute perfection!! 2. Beach Ball: Vanilla icing with multi-colored sprinkles and a chocolate drizzle. Certain to be a kid favorite, as well as +80yr olds everywhere’s. (simply too sweet for me) 3. S'more's: Chocolate icing with graham cracker crumbs and a marshmallow drizzle. While delicious, I really couldn’t taste the marshmallow nor graham cracker. The chocolate icing was fabulous, though- not too sweet. (simply because I didn’t get a s’more taste from it) 4. Blueberry Icing: Vanilla icing infused with blueberry compote. On this donut, I left off the additional powder sugar. This was FABULOUS!!! Not too sweet and with real blueberry bits. Taste: 8/5
While Dunkin and Krispy Kreme have their place in my heart, this was a fun treat for the family and worth the drive for IMO!
