First time visiting this establishment. Came in for lunch with some coaches after a mtg and before a practice on a Saturday. Ordered a chicken burrito and a Coke Zero. While they had a lot of juices to choose from, only diet drink choices were bottles of soda. Waited a reasonable amount of time for the food to be prepared. The chicken burrito came with rice and beans and cilantro inside. Good flavor overall, but nothing great. The tortilla was really tasty but I did not think that the chicken had much seasoning and it was a little overcooked. The burrito came with fries as well which were the crunchy, batter type, seasoned fries you find in most bars now. Tasty, but again nothing special. I will say that the burrito was pretty large and I only ate half and took the other half home for the next day. When I ate the other half the next day and added a little more seasoning to go along with the salsa I had at home and sour cream, I feel that the burrito had much more flavor. Someone in the group I was with had street tacos and said they were really good. Small place with not a lot of seating area and tough to accommodate a group larger than 4 unless you were to push table together. I will try their location again and look to get taxi or something other than the chicken and see how the other dishes are.

I came for the night in the area and read all the great reviews and honestly the food wasn't all that great. I give the food a solid 5.9 out of 10 and that's me being generous. The tacos de asada were okay. It was missing some flavor. The tortas could have been better. The quesadilla de mano tasted like a bootleg chalupa and honestly I would have preferred to get a chalupa from Taco Bell. They didn't even use the correct cheese. You're supposed to use queso oaxaca and they used something else. Not authentic at all. The agua de horchata didn't have cinnamon. Im not sure what they were thinking. The agua de Jamaica was probably the only thing that was above average. I give that drink a 8/10. The staff was nice. There were two younger kids up front. One was actually working and the other was just sitting in the chair the entire time. Well better luck next time.

Just found this place yesterday. The only thing I miss about living in California is tacos and the Cal burrito. This place reminds me of home. That burrito was LEGIT! And their hot sauces are insanely good. It’s my new go to place for my taco/burrito fix. Thanks guys!

This restaurant is THE BEST! Long story short, I put in a catering order yesterday and when reading off the meats available, they didn’t mention my favorite, Carnitas, but no sweat because their steak and chicken are great as well. Today, they called and asked if I wanted carnitas because that is my go-to and they know what I like…yes they know my normal order. I changed the order and look forward to sharing it with friends. They are a personal, family business who KNOWS their customers!

This place serves up absolute perfection every time! The tacos are incredible. Any protein you choose will not disappoint, but the carnitas are to die for. They have a rotating selection of aguas frescas, and there's bound to be one you'll love. The sauces will light you up, but they are FLAVORFUL! And for the love of all that is good in the world, you MUST try the tamales!!
One of my favorite local places! Been coming to el serranito since they were working out of a gas station. The quesidilla al mano is my favorite and something i havent seen in any other places near bye. Their chicken and marinated pork are amazing. The agua frescas (especially pineapple) are top notch. I could keep pouring over this place all day, im just so glad theyve been successful and hope others help keep that success going!

With all the Spanish -speaking landscapers, painters, and handymen already eating there, I knew the food would be authentic. I was right and it was good.
