Food is not that good, all vegetables are from a can or frozen. The meats are OK, corn bread is not good; it crumbles when you bite into it and you can tell it was cooked a day or 3 ago.. If you're hungry and you just don't want fast food, then this place is an alternative, but if you're looking for good fresh cooked vegetables, this is NOT the place to go. It's clean and staff is friendly.
The only decent thing about my meal was that the pork chop wasn't terrible. The service was awful. No wonder we were the only customers. I actually felt unwelcome. The place was terribly hot inside as well. To top it off, it was very expensive. Save your money and eat somewhere else. My meal was over $13 and I left there still hungry.
This place was absolutely horrible. Fried chicken fried in old grease and undercooked, mac and cheese and mashed potatoes tasteless bland and dry. Customer service worse than food and unclean workers. They acted like they didn't want to do anything like we was wasting they precious time. Male employee sneezed very loudly without covering mouth over food and didnt wash hands. Female employee used bathroom hear the toilet flush and came straight out without washing hands. We walked out still hungry and in disgust. Called health department on these nasty people. Don't walk run away!!!!
I Come here at least once a week..for the last couple of months..food is descent..But the one Asian guy has awful customer service. He's rude and impatient..I would rather go to location in Kennesaw. I won't be coming back as well as my co workers.
Generally good food but last 2 times we ordered the Mac and cheese tasted strange.. kind of a metallic taste. Couldn't eat it.
I used to enjoy coming to this place before it was sold to the new owners. The portions used to be generous when the ladies were running it. Now it's like pulling teeth out to get the new owners to give you a reasonably sized portion of food. If you want someone to pay TEN DOLLARS for 3 servings of vegetables then they should be reasonably sized adult portions. Unfortunately I don't think I'll be coming back here.
Nope! Tasted like good old hospital food!! Bland!! No salt, no pepper! Boxed mashed potatoes, chicken fried in hot old oil, still raw inside. Green beans straight from the can. Chicken gizzards that will pull your teeth out. Not a good experience AT ALL!
Y'all we frequent this establishment about once a week is very close to my home and on any day I don't feel like cooking this is the closest thing we can get to home cooking without dirty and dishes. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. Everyone is always wearing a smile and they seem as though they truly enjoy being there. The only downside I would have to say is the parking lot is a very tight space.
Real nice place however the food here is just not that good. The rice casserole tasted like motor oil the Fried chicken is dry from sitting under the heat lamps. Second time I tried them I got Mac n cheese it wasn’t tasty at all… the sweet tea is good and the cornbread is good but always dry as well.. The catfish is also dry from sitting under heat lamps… I do however love the concept they have regarding the card stamps after 10 ordered plates you get a plate free. But as far as the food quality it’s just not good… I gave them two tries and I will not be returning. Not to knock this business
Fried chops, yams, and lima beans were great. Tasted fresh and highly recommend. However the red velvet cake was the worse cake I've ever had. It was stale and as if the slice was left out for day's. The taste was bad and the icing was not any better. To pay 7 bucks for the worse slice of cake ever was very disappointing. I can definitely recommend the food but stay away from the red velvet cake.

I ordered 2 meals in Uber eats , chicken wings and fried rice. The veggies in the rice were rock hard. I can’t even explain the texture of the rice, but it did not taste like rice at all it was terrible. The chicken was stale, chewy and clearly not fresh, like it had been sitting somewhere all day.
Astoundingly good. I just wanted a decent lunch , not a burger, and was going to be happy to eat something that had any kind of nutritional value. And then one bite of the baked chicken and I was instantly on-the-spot gratified, actually the best chicken meal I've had at any restaurant in many years. Even the cornbread was outstanding, the best restaurant-served cornbread I've ever had, and that includes Philly and Queens. Had four sides - cabbage, green beans, mashed potatoes, and pinto beans - the beans were a revelation. All other veggies delicious, perfectly coked and flavored. Ribs too, top notch. Yeah
Good place for a quick dinner, solid meals. Lots of fried food though... usually 1 or 2 meats that are not fried and decent sides. Most of the meals come with a drink so if you drink tea or pop you can get out the door for around $12.
From the moment I walked in, I was enthusiastically greeted by two wonderful servers. No exaggeration. Food was amazing. Good prices for the amount of food. That’s all I can say.
I tried this place a handful of times but never had an experience like my last time. This was my first time coming since they got new management. The employees drea and channah were incredible. They were so kind, respectful, helpful and made me feel the most comfortable I’ve been in a restaurant.I was also given the opportunity to speak with the cooks in the back and they were so wonderful. The food was fantastic and the music was impeccable and the environment was super clean. This restaurant has a great vibe and definitely will see me again soon. Wonderful establishment
