Herb’s Rib Shack

The rib tips are really good and tender. They're seasoned and grilled well. The Mac and Cheese was fair, the banana pudding was fair, and the collard greens looked and tasted like they were from the can. But overall, I would definitely return for the ribs only.

Ok I was skeptical at first but they let you sample items if you request. The ribs and sauce were good! Mac and cheese was good!! Collard greens were just ok to me. Overall i would definitely go back.

The smoke meat was good both times…I had ribs. The second time I had sides, green beans and collard greens and the sides tasted like they came from cans. I’m not saying it did but tasted like it.

My wife and I walked in and were offered a free sample. It was only ok. They offer the sample to guilt trip you into buying something. There is zero chance a dry burnt chicken sandwich is 20 dollars. Or a rack of ribs is 30 dollars. We just laughed at the prices and left. For the same money we would have spent here we were able to go to nice sit down restaurant and order drinks, entrees, and desserts. The amount of high rated reviews are suspicious here and I suspect they were paid for or were offered a free item in exchange for it.

I would have given a 5 star, but they most definitely need to improve on the side dishes, other than that, some of the best ribs other than mines I've tasted.

Customer service, great, ribs, great, chicken, tasteless, Mac & cheese bland, Green beans spicy, Baked beans spicy , BBQ SAUCE SPICY, If you like spicy food or cajun food you will love it. Spice not for everyone.

Even though I ordered a Slab of Ribs... they through in a couple Rib Tips. They taste as though they were right off the grill. 10 for 10 for me.... and me drove from Exit 2 on 285.

Herb served a slamming plate of ribs. If it's straight center cut or ribs and tips for a plentiful sight, the seasoning and flavor is great. I appreciate Herb for being on top of service ?!!!

The ribs are excellent. Being from Philly it's so hard to find BBQ that lives up to my standard. I never mind driving from SC to ATL for these Ribs. Staff isn't all that pleasant but the RIBS are so good I don't even care lol. Herb does his thing!!!

I have traveled all over the country and tried ribs everywhere. I will say these ribs are easily in my top 3. The rib tips are the best that I have ever had. It was so good I started to turn around and go get some more. I still may go back before leaving town!
