The hot and sour soup, egg rolls, cashew chicken and chicken vegetables were all delicious. We will order again at House of Lu.

Friendly staff. Excellent food and prices are perfect. A must visit. The bah mi was so delicious and the fire cracker beef was to die for but the best of all was desert. Clean restaurant and nice calming ambiance

Steve was our server tonight and we had a great night but one of our friends was having issues with the her meal. After the first bite of the lobster sauce shrimp, she began to feel sick, the shrimp tasted raw, im not sure if it was because they were close to closing but we asked if we could send her meal back and they asked what was wrong with it 2 times with a passive aggressive tone. They did remove the meal off the receipt which we appreciated but we don't appreciate passive aggressive tone, especially when we asked very nicely. The space is beautiful though!

Quality is not what it used to be to be. Had pork fried rice which was overcooked. However, service was good. Ambiance nice. Just steps off Marietta Square

I like House of Lou, but past few times wasn't what I expected. Most of the time I get takeouts, and the last two times, I was disappointed. Not sure what's changed, but got the Shrimp w/ veggies one time and next time got the Beef w/ broccoli and both times it tasted bland! The veggies tasted like medicine..no seasoning whatsoever! The sauce on the Beef w/ broccoli was just plain nasty. My coworker got the Lo Mein and she was not impressed. I convinced my coworker to order her Chinese food from here than some other place she usually orders from and now she's looking at me sideways ? bc I raved on the food here! Oh well.....?

Lived nearby for a few years now but finally decided to give this place a try, what a disappointment. The food was mediocre at best. The chicken spring rolls were over cooked in vegetable oil with no pieces of chicken detected within. At over $60 for the two of us we could have gone almost anywhere else for a better meal.

First and foremost, the service here was appalling. The waitstaff was incredibly rude and inattentive throughout the entire meal. They seemed disinterested in helping patrons and barely acknowledged our presence. It took an eternity for someone to take our order, and when they did, it was done with a noticeable attitude. The worst part of the evening was when we received our bill. Not only was the service charge added to the bill, but the server also had the audacity to make an aggressive and rude demand for an additional tip. I believe tipping is important, and I always tip generously for good service, but the way it was handled here was entirely unprofessional and unacceptable. Tips should be earned through excellent service, not demanded. The overall experience was marred by the staff's behavior and inappropriate tip request. It's a shame because the food, which was just average, was overshadowed by the negative encounter with the staff.

I recently dined at this restaurant, and I must say it was a truly disappointing experience. From the moment I walked in, I had a bad feeling, and unfortunately, it only got worse from there. Overall, I would strongly advise against dining at this one. The combination of terrible food, poor service, and a lackluster atmosphere made for a truly unpleasant experience. I won't be returning, and I hope this review helps others avoid the same disappointment.

Photo of so-called shrimp fried rice. I wanted Egg Foo Young, I was told it was not available because we were a large party. Okay! The other part of our group sitting across someone had ordered Egg Foo Young. I was ? shocked. The rice tasted warmed over and bland, not hot and fresh. My friend's Garlic Chicken lacked any trace of garlic. The quality of food I had was poor, not worth what I paid for the meal. What ever happened to customer service? This is a one time visit and done.I won't be coming back to this House!
