We booked an event and showed up, and the place is closed. My coworkers left reviews, which the owner responded to, stating they had canceled our event, refunded our payment, and emailed me. I did NOT receive an email. If the refund was issued, I don't receive the credit card statements as those go to our corporate office. I suppose I'll find out when I receive the statement from corporate on the 5th of November. A former employee happened to be driving by as my group was arriving. He stated he'd been let go the week before, and said, "Good luck." when I asked how I could contact the owner. D&B is right down the street, so that's where we went. The owner also stated in his response to the other reviews that he hoped we found the other axe throwing place down the street. We didn't, because at 4pm, I didn't really have time to start Googling other places. So, as the former employee stated, "good luck" if you book an event in advance here.

I had a very disappointing experience at Ironmongere Brewery. We booked an event in advance and paid upfront, only to find the place closed when I arrived. There was no prior notification or explanation, which left our group in a difficult situation. It's incredibly unprofessional to take payments without ensuring the venue is open for the scheduled event. I would not recommend this place based on my experience.

Unbelievably incompetent management. We scheduled a 4pm party for 15 or so people on a Thursday afternoon, prepaid the $400 fee, arrived promptly at 4pm only to discover that when we arrived that the place was CLOSED for the day. $400 down the drain. Our party event was COMPLETELY RUINED. What a horrible experience and absolute joke! We will never come back to this place ever again and I'm telling everyone I know about this.

Nice place to spend the weekend. We enjoyed the experience, but the only concern was that it was quite hot inside.

Excellent experience, friendly staff, made me feel like they knew me my whole life. Great beer selection as well.

Enjoyable brewery! Had three beers while here; a DIPA, kölsch, and a Belgian Tripel with the Belgian Tripel being the standout, but all three were tasty for their style. The place has a quality vibe with bar seating, a couple padded chairs, a couch, and multiple tables. There’s water pong and board games as well including a giant ‘Connect Four’. Axe throwing is behind the taproom. It’s a good place and with a 4.9 rating and almost 1k reviews I can see why fellow patrons like this place so much.

Great selection of beers. The bartenders were always friendly (can’t remember names though I visited the place a dozen times). The ax throwing hall is a fun draw that no other brewery has. Highly recommended.

After a disappointing dinner elsewhere, I landed here for beers and internet. Very pleasant, a little loud and some delicious beers. I had two of the "License to Kolsch" which was of course, a crisp, clean and refreshing Kölsch that made up for the earlier not-so-great meal.

At 8pm on Saturday, it was a fun and friendly spot. I enjoyed my hour here very much.

My mother and I had a great time throwing axe’s/ hatchets. They are very friendly and great at showing us what to do and teaching us some trick shots. The hard seltzer was so good and my mother loved her mango margarita on tap. We brought a growler of the “Went Fast didn’t die” home and it is a great very sour beer. Can’t wait to go back!
