I dined in for the first time tonight and had an overall wonderful experience. The staff was very warm and welcoming, and the sushi was excellent. I did have the spring rolls for an appetizer, they weren’t the best i’ve ever had, but I enjoyed them nonetheless. Nice local establishment 👍
I hate that it took us over a year to find this place that's right around the corner from us. We typically drive from East Cobb to the square in Marietta when we want the Thai/sushi combo at Thaicoon. Kapow was such a nice surprise. The sushi and rolls were fresh and nicely prepared. The rolls where actually cut thin enough for single mouthfuls vs so many that you have to pull apart with chopsticks or risk choking by stuffing the whole thing in your mouth. Our go-to Thai...
I ordered sushi to go and it was decent. The tempura was tough and seemed like it wasn’t fresh and my tuna roll was a bit tough to chew through. I would come back and try something else on the menu.
