I am so missing this jewel of a restaurant in our community. Any news on a reopening date? I have not seen any activity…which makes me so sad.

Bandeja paisa is the best plate, looking forward to go there again, hopefully they can reopen soon?

Great food and service. A pleasure to enjoy a meal. And the grocery store is a lifesaver!!

I felt the need to review since there is a temporary closure. If we lost La Carretta I’d be devastated. For 10yrs this has been our weekly go-to restaurant — my absolute favorite for the area. The food is always great and the service, super friendly and on point. Their house margarita is hands down the best in Atlanta. If you haven’t tried it, you should!

Delicious!! I've been here to get their homemade tortillas to cook with and also for dinner. A little different twist/flavor but so authentic and yummy!!

I've never eaten here before but my coworkers insisted. $65 later....my bosses order was missing meat and the chicken on the rest of the orders were very dry. The cheese bread seemed to be old (see pic). I very much enjoyed the delicious and moist Mexicano Tamale. The chips are made fresh and are enjoyably thin and crispy, just the way they should be. The cheese dip was pretty good as well.

The first and last time eating here. Food was cold. Not to mention the terrible flavor.Bandeja paisa plate look like kid size but charged as a large adult plate.$27 for a 1/4 plate of original bandeja paisa? You got to be kidding.?

Excellent restaurant that remembered you as home for all the Latinos that we visited this place. They are mostly Colombian stuff but any Latin American person who visits this could find all different products at their mini market. They breakfast are amazing (Tequeños, empanadas y papitas) the atmosphere it is really good too, sometimes it’s really full They don’t have enough people to attend you quickly but that’s okay with the quality of the food, the Horchata it is freaking amazing I recommend this Latin restaurant without a doubt also the waiters are really friendly if you know what I mean hehe, the variety of food it is excellent too They have at least a piece of food of almost every country in South America, and if we talk about the mini market it is most amazing for the variety of Latin products, let’s go there if you want good food!

I'm a truck driver and I went to make a delivery there. I decided to grab a bite for lunch and it was awesome. I got a Barbacoa burrito ?. The server that took care of me was great as well. He asked me about being a trucker, he applauded me for my courage and told me to be careful. I will definitely be back.Parking: Huge lot.Dietary restrictions: Vegan options available.

The food is really fresh and tastes amazing! Portion sizes are smaller than other Mexican restaurants but both my mother & I still took food home. Great experience, will def be back!

They serve Mexican, Guatemalan, and Colombian food. We had 3 separate entrees. We will not go back. Their salsa is made fresh and it is amazing. I would buy that by the gallon. Their maduros (fried ripe plantains) were very good. Those are the only compliments I can give. I'm Latina. I cook and eaten Latin American food almost daily. I have travelled to and eaten in Mexico, Guatemala, and Colombia many times. I have eaten in the homes of my Mexican, Guatemalan, and Colombian friends. I know what this food is supposed to taste like. I was especially disappointed with the National dish of Columbia, La Bandeja Paisa. We also tried the Enchiladas with salsa verde, and Mexican Carnitas. None of it was good. Of our party of 4 Hispanics, no one was happy. We paid $75 before tips for 3 meals, shared among 4 people. We also had one soft drink and a guava flan dessert. The gland had a great presentation but the guava was overpowering. They tried to get fancy with the guava and ruined a perfectly good flan. The servers were pleasant. The restaurant was clean. The ambiance wasn't fancy but I don't care about that. It wasn't loud and it met my most important criteria. If a restaurant is clean with comfortable seating, prompt pleasant service, and good food, then I am happy. I should have stayed home and made everything myself. Go buy the salsa though. It's worth it. It's not spicy. It's mild and fresh.

Excellent restaurant. While searching for a Colombian restaurant this one came up and we decided to try it. The food was delicious as well as the service. We will be back. Highly recommend it!

Fantastic food and nice folks. Their weekend soups are really good. I've had their tacos, enchiladas, burritos, and tortas and everything was excellent. The brisket enchiladas with the green sauce are stand-out good. Margaritas are really good, but they don't have pitchers it's not that type of place. They have always been kind to my 1 year old and have good seating accomodations for children. Make sure to get a side of their salsa picante, it's really good and spicy.
