This is a shabby little restaurant of a chain i have visited for 20+ years in different cities. The food is the same as the others. I love the tomato basil soup, so that's what has me seeking out this chain. This time, the service was so absurdly rude. The night manager couldn't be bothered to explain what the various unlabeled pastries were. Then it spiraled. His bad day was not lost on other customers. One ordered fruit and he whined to them about having to go cut it up in the back. Really? Not worth going here. Even for tomato basil soup.

Beyond shocking! I’ve been going to this chain since the 80s… starting with Metairie, La and then in Dallas, Tx and now this location. I also use to go to the one near perimeter. I was happy to find one within 20 min of my home in Roswell. I visited last Saturday. The girls taking the orders were a little unorganized, ok no problem, but then I noticed NO ONE was wearing gloves while preparing food and back and forth touching other non food items. Then I noticed the girl’s thumb in the bowl preparing my salad, which made me look closer at all the kitchen staff. Omg ! Put your gloves on .. learn how to hold the bowl without your thumb down in it!! No safe protocols in place with food preparers. Total lack of awareness! Tables were dirty throughout.. AND we had to go back and get clean silverware - food stuck on the knives and forks!
The only nice thing was the gentleman that brought our food to the table. The perimeter location is not run like nor any other locations I’ve been to.
They need to close, clean and retrain ..I’m wondering if anyone behind the counter has taken a serve safe course? While paying I did mention it to one of the managers.. He noticed the issue and offered to remake my salad ..I noticed later he had jumped in on the food prep with gloves. I declined the remake since my daughter was with me and we had a time issue. I ate the strawberries and skipped the salad with salmon. I’m calling corporate because the violations were so shocking!

Nasty team member, older white guy who was rude from the moment I walked in. Picked up an uber eats and put my hazard lights on and parked in the front. Instead of greeting me the man and the young girl with glasses kept working until he asked me about my car and was it parked out front. I said yes, he gave a speech about parking in front. I told him I was quite aware and was the order ready. He proceeded to be a douche bag and continue his speech about where I parked. Last time I checked he worked inside the store. He’s not a fire Marshall, police officer nor does he own the sidewalk. I asked him again about the order and he continued to argue with me about where I parked my car. I told him to keep his funky attitude after he finally gave me the order. I reported him to Uber eats and will be reporting him to corporate and showing up to speak to whomever the real manager may be. I’ve never had an issue with any restaurant or customer. In fact, most restaurants don’t have an issue with it as long as you put on your hazard lights and make a quick run in. Apparently, when you get hired to make sandwiches in a restaurant that also entails the duties of questioning where someone can park. He’s lucky he caught me on a nice day. What grown man questions a woman, a married woman about where she parks? I see why the restaurant has 3.7. With people like him working there it’s rightfully deserved.

I’ve always enjoyed this place. However in recent months it is understaffed every time I’ve been in lately. They are always out of things on the menu. The food quality has lessened. The dishes are dirty. The counter staff seems to be working hard to keep up but appear overwhelmed. Overall it seems very poorly managed now. I hate to see Timmy places falter. I hope it rebounds to the lovely place it used to be.

Went there today for breakfast. Only 1 person behind the counter and she was busy making salads for a pickup order and couldn't take our order for a little bit. I told her to wave to me when she was free. She was nice but it was odd being at an order counter and having to sit down to wait for service. Then the music came on and it was way too loud. There weren't many people in the place (7 total?) so there was no ambient noise to overcome - it was really out of place and a little startling. The mgr came over to a table next to me to ask how everything was (nice of her to do that) and they told her the music was too loud for them "to even hear ourselves think". It was. She explained that she was getting inspected that day and "they will put a mark against us if we don't have the music playing at a certain level to provide ambience". I don't know what kind of ambience you're looking to provide when your guests say they can't hear themselves think at what's designed as a French country bakery/cafe. I was waiting on another person to join or else I'd have left to go somewhere else. She said she could turn it down "a tiny bit" and it was better but it still wasn't great. Lastly, my coffee had a half a teaspoon of grounds in the cup, with the other half being in my mouth. LOL. So that was the disappointing side. On the bright side the guy who brought our food was a cheerful sort and very nice, the eggs and bacon were good, as always, and the atmosphere outside of the music is always nice. Even the table I initially chose (but didn't wind up sitting at) that wobbled like a top was kind of quaint. I wouldn't have left a review if not for the music. I like this place, I'll be back, and will just hope for a slightly better overall experience.

I have not been there for a while. Inflated prices and deflated croissant. Everything shrunk but not the prices. By the way, the croissant they served to me was not even fresh.

Very disappointing! Was shocked to see how deteriorated the place appeared .. brightly lit in the evening -no warm , comfy vibes .. No fire -broken & being inspected .. No knives when requested.. out of Bread & .. chipped tables & a nasty bathroom .. food was off too .. this used to be a lovely place .. wouldn’t be surprised if it’s closed soon

Simply put, the place is getting very'tired" looking. Many/most of the tables need to be refinished. Decor is now very dated and it has lost a lot of its atmosphere . Last night it was cold and the fireplace was not operational. Hence a steady down draft of cold air. Suspect staff behind the counter was warm enough but out on the floor it was chilly. Was the furnace also not working?... Everyone eating had their coats on. Probably a mgmt problem when there is more staff than patrons and they fail to bus the tables. Really need to up their game if they want to earn my business.

The potato soup was an item I always looked forward to ordering. This time it was gritty and felt it had other additives. It was not hot when served. 10/26. I will not be looking forward to this dining experience anymore.

The food quality has greatly increased over the past two years. I've enjoyed the new menu items. The current employees also have much more cheerful attitudes.
