Service was great but unfortunately the worst buffet I’ve been to barely ate anything off half a plate looked like frozen meals and other stuff was very bland and questionable looking

Some food is very suspect of being old and/or re heated. I won't be returning.

The food was ok. Lukewarm, seems like it was the food leftover from the lunch crowd.

The food is awful. The server was great. $26.01 for 2 people not worth it if the food isn't any good.

I love this place. Down home country cooking never gets old.

The crust on the catfish is too thick and the pork chops could be breaded lighter maybe without bones. The waitress and the owner are very friendy and food is generally good and tasty. The desert poetions are undersized but I still enjoy the place

These are the very BEST catfish nuggets I have had from anywhere in a long time! The batter was just the way a southern woman expects it - with cornmeal in it. It was crispy and fresh. The desserts weren't worth the calories, and I'd have been ashamed to serve banana pudding that looked as crusty as that mess did, but the main dishes and sides were fantastic. Even the baked chicken was great. Most buffets ruin baked chicken, but not here.

I've been going to M and J's for over 10 years. I love everyone who works there both out front and in the kitchen. I never had a bad experience. I didn't even like catfish until I tasted M and J's. Crispy, seasoned just right. Homemade white beans, pinto beans, potatoes salad. macaroni salad, cucumber salad, pickled beet, dressing, yyamsand Collard Greens and the vegetable soup looks thin but the flavor taste and is homemade. As you can see I love M and J's!
Love you guys and Girl's
