False advertising is against the law but some people don't care and that's MnJ home cooking.I Googled them and looked at menu .It's stated 9.00 a person. The truth is 13.00 per person. The owner said sh was sorry but would not HONOR THE GOOGLE ADVERTISEMENT.Will not go back.....EVER.Be honest to customers and everyone else.

Don't know where our waitress got to but after seating us we saw her around and about but she never came back to our table but we had a nice one to help us out. Fish overcooked possibly oil needed changed chicken dry crust too hard and rolls had no taste.

I hate to do this simply because the people who work there are so genuinely nice. But the food needs helped. Fried chicken as so fried there was no meat to eat. Meatloaf tasted decent but geez it was cold like it came out of a refrigerator. Every hot food in the place was room temp at best. The hot food and cold foods were all the same temp. Not sure what the price is now but it was $13.00 and they made sure to say with a ice tea. Itd be a deal for $5 or $6 but id recommend saving your money and go to Golden Coral or somewhere. But the employees are all great. But try to serve warm food.
The price is worth it for the main courses. Delicious catfish , fried chicken, catfish nuggets, salad, and the sweet tea. The apple cobbler and vanilla icecream though, was finger licking good. The atmosphere could use a little bit of work , maybe some music. But the restaurant stands up to its name. Also, the lady who served us was very polite !

First time here and was nicely impressed. Service was 10/10 and the food was very good. We appreciate the buffet! Thank you!
For the price of $13 for a southern cuisine buffet, u can't beat it! Food tastes great and the service is really southern comfort feeling! The whole experience was great and such a sweet owner!

The overall place seems to have gone down a bit. Food was not as tasty and the serving containers on the buffet were not refilled in a timely manner. That said it is still a good meal for what you pay.
