I am a local and brought a special out of town friend to Mac's to celebrate an occasion. Our greeting from the hostess was lovely. A Birthday card, signed by the staff was placed on our table for my friends special day. What a sweet and personal touch! From the savory crab cakes and perfectly fried green tomatoes topped with a touch of feta to start, our entire meal was one delicious taste after another. The salmon plate served with succotash melted in our mouths. The house Sauvignon Blanc was a lovely pairing. Our server, Liv was very helpful in answering our questions about the special features of the day. She was professional, friendly, always smiling and had a knack for timing on when to check on our table and when to just let us enjoy our time together catching up. In an upscale setting and feel, it's always a fun ambiance at Mac's with a little quieter feel upstairs if that suits one better. We would highly recommend Mac's Chophouse on the Marietta Square! My husband and I stopped in on our vacation. What an amazing find. Tori made it wonderful. We ordered the peel and eat shrimp, black grouper with delicious toppings, fish & chips, king crab from the raw bar and for dessert, the lemon blueberry glazed donuts! The entire team worked together taking care of all of the guests and being very attentive. Tori’s timing, attention to detail and making our entire first experience here, one of many more! I was so impressed with Tori’s professionalism and kindness, I spoke with Yvonne before I left. I highly recommend this gem which has amazing seating choices including wrap around booths or outdoor seating.

First time here with a friend who lives nearby. We sat outside as it seemed kind of loud inside. Our waiter was great, attentive. We each had steak which were cooked according to our request. Our sides of mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts were good and generous. The frites which came with one of the steaks were terrible. They were not fresh and looked like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for an hour. There was nothing spectacular about Mac's.

Nice Anniversary dinner. Food was absolutely delicious! Service great. Only one thing that was a negative. The restaurant wasn't very crowded, and they decided to set some other couple right beside us. It was a booth style on one side, so their table was 24 inches from ours. Luckily they were a very nice couple. The brownie/ice-cream dessert was amazing to finish things up.
