I don’t usually leave reviews but our experience here had to be reported for the good of humanity. Had a bad lunch on an otherwise beautiful Saturday in Marietta. Food was prepared poorly, service was painfully slow, and a few items were dirty. Would avoid this spot until they iron out their issues.To be more specific:Ordered sake which came in a nice carafe but the carafe hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Dirt and bacterial growth inside it. Nasty.We informed kitchen one of our party had a dairy issue but her sandwich bread had obviously been toasted with butter.Shrimp was overcooked.Gumbo was tasteless.Took 20+ minutes to serve us wine.Took forever to bring us spoons.

We had the oysters to start, phenomenal and fresh! My grouper sandwich was delicious and perfectly cooked. My husband liked his mahi mahi and they do have a kids menu! I would say the butter in the butter noodles has a strong flavor for a child, almost tastes like a weird olive oil so my son didn't eat much of it but my husband and i thought it was good ha. My wine flight was great too. The waitress was friendly and attentive i have a feeling the kitchen is a bit slow but we were there early so it didn't really affect us as much but i could see it being an issue at 7pm prime time! Can't wait to sit outside here when it's not raining ?

My boyfriend and I came to Marietta square and decided to walk around and just pick a random restaurant and we stumbled into this wonderful establishment. We wanted to sit at the bar and were promptly seated. I have been trying to find PNW oysters in Atlanta for years now and finally found them here! We got half a dozen oysters from Washington, crab dip, and fried shrimp. I had a dirty martini (made to perfection btw I’m picky) and my boyfriend had a delicious not so basic mock tail. Every thing about our meal was superb. Ian was our server and he immediately had the best energy and followed steps of service so perfectly. We will 100% be back!

Mac's Raw Bar has been our go-to restaurant for date night since they opened. But we were disappointed this time. We ordered the crispy shrimp and the portion has been cut from eight to five shrimp. After our dinner plates were cleared (not by our server) it took our server 15 minutes to check back. We ordered dessert which we ultimately cancelled after waiting almost 20 minutes for it. We were belatedly celebrating our anniversary (noted in the reservation) and there was no acknowledgement. Not up to our expectations

Such a solid go-to for seafood on the square (or anywhere). My wife and I were so happy when they opened the raw bar and they never fail to deliver great food and service. The crab cakes are ? ?. Oysters always on point, peel and eat shrimp great, fish tacos, the list goes on. There really isn’t a bad dish here.

I love macs raw bar. Its probably my favorite restaurant thats not too far of a drive in the Marietta area. I have been to the chophouse and the rawbar and both are great but I usually go to the rawbar since its a bit more casual. the drinks are really good and the claim chowder is bomb and I am from New England so that means something.

Valentine's Day Dinner Date:Our encounter with Taylor (female bartender) was nothing short of appalling. The way she talked to me with displayed a shocking level of rudeness and disrespect throughout our communication. We arrived early for our reservations, so I went to the bar to ask for a cup of coffee, she really reiterated multiple times that the coffee machine was upstairs as she huffed and puffed about the potential having to go upstairs and get it. After waiting 35 minutes downstairs for her to bring me a cup of coffee, she never brought it.Taylor’s tone was dismissive, and I felt belittled during the entire interaction. Such behavior is entirely unacceptable. It’s disheartening to experience such treatment as a paying patron.I strongly urge you to address this issue promptly and ensure that your restaurant upholds a basic standard of courtesy and professionalism. This was our first time at this restaurant, more than likely we won’t be back, despite the food being good. Very disappointed.

The gumbo is absolutely perfect. I could have just had that and been satisfied. The scallops were cooked just right and paired well with the bucatini. My wife had the lobster and spinach carbonara. It was good with lots of flavor. The only thing she didn't like was that she had to Crack the lobster claw and get the meat out.

The manager gave us the check 3 times and advise that we had only 20 more minutes to pay and leave. Even do we were still eating because we decided to order more oysters after our desserts.
