Searched for Jamaican food and this was close by. I called in on the way in for curry chicken and was told 10 mins. Came in 20 mins later, paid for my food only for the guy to come from the back and tell me, I would have to wait 20 mins for the curry chicken. Why wasn’t I told this over the phone? Also 18.0% gratuity charge for pickup? I waited for over 30 mins to finally get my food which had no taste. Would not be trying this place again. 1st and last time here. Waste of money and time. ?

Spent 3 hours trying to get my order correct and stay literally 3 mins away from this store. Order was wrong because the person bagging the orders are bagging wrong. Callaloo container had no sauce at all, I call to let the restaurant know and the employee hung up and wouldn’t answer any call what’s so ever .

I’ve tried this place twice before. Tried the brown stew chicken, rice and peas with cabbage as a side. The chicken was pretty good everything else was mediocre. Second time I got the jerk chicken pasta. I wasn’t too impressed, it was just okay. The chicken didn’t have that jerk that expected although the portion was generous, I expected more veggies mixed in there.

This place was all wrong on so many levels.First, let's start with customer service. The waitress was rude and very disrespectful as far as her interaction with me and my family. She seems to had an attitude with servicing us Or just having a bad day. And there was no one in the restaurant beside us, so I am not sure what the issue was but that needs to addressed. The waitress didn't give her name. ( description: short about 5'5 and she was very light skinned and she had faux locs)Also my food was not good at all. I had the curry snapper, and my kids and sister had curry chicken. We did not enjoyed our food because the food was not flavorful and the sauce was runny and their rice and peas were hard. We didn't get any plantains with our food. The sweet tea tastes bitter.Do not dine here. The food and service is terrible. Will not be returning ????

Got to get takeout of their oxtail plate which was still warm by the time I got it. It includes yellow rice and beans, side of cabbage, and sweet fried plantains. As a lover of oxtail, I was not disappointed with the tender and flavorful meat. The sides were a good balance for the meal and also a decent size, which is supported by the solid cost ($32). My friend, however, tried their Jerk chicken plate and was a little disappointed by the dryness of it. Definitely need some kind of sauce to bring the whole dish together. Overall, I liked my meal but given the chicken, your experience is heavily dependent on what you decide to get. Would come again for their oxtail though!

Made reservations two weeks ago for 12:30 pm for a party of 8. Told it would not be a problem. Called back on Friday to confirm, told it was received. Arrived to find out that they don't open until 3pm on Sunday!! A disaster. It was a birthday celebration.

I found this place because my regular Caribbean spot was out of Snapper. I should have read the reviews first. I ordered the steamed Snapper with white rice and cabbage. The first bite of my Snapper had scales on it. I had to eat the inside only because scales were all over it. It was not cleaned properly. The cabbage and the rice was crunchy. I ended up throwing a $30 meal away. On top of that the 18% gratuity for a to go order from the unfriendly cashier is just highway robbery. Too bad. I really wanted to like it. Now I see why it was empty.

So the place was way too loud to begin with. Also, my husband paid a tip with take out and was still charged gratuity of 18% - that is theft. My husband watched the guy and noticed he charged every person 18% gratuity when they had take out. The gravy in the curry goat was runny and the saltiest food I’d ever had. Exchanged it for brown stew, it was runny and light in color - definitely didn’t come from a real Jamaican in the kitchen. Finally got Jerky chicken and it wasn’t prepared properly, it should be slightly drier. My wings were all drums, salty and the blue cheese tasted rancid. The waiters were very kind said they’d refund me the difference of $6 for the jerk chicken instead of curry but they still stole from us. They were patient but I don’t appreciate the theft and the yucky food.We will never be back.
