Nice shady treed town square with places to sit. Restaurants and shops surround the square. Weekends have a farmers market in season(check schedule).

Brown Bag concert series is an awesome way to spend lunch hour. The square is beautiful, and Cat Carter Music was delightful. I can't wait for the September series.Playground: All the children looked like they were having fun. Safe and clean.Restrooms: The bathrooms are close to the stage, and are permanent NOT portable bathrooms.Dog-friendliness: Dogs are welcome in the square. Please remember to pick up after your pooch.Picnic area: There are many restaurants to choose from, some have outdoor seating. There is bench seating in the square green if you choose to eat there

Nice place to stroll around with plenty to do, especially if you go on a day they are having an event! I always check the city of Marietta’s page to see what is going on. The one downside is it’s quite hard to find parking most of the time.

Always loved the square. Had a food Booth for years for the juneteenth festival. And I used to like the taste of Marietta until it became too crowded and not inviting at all. Needs to be more than one day and the price for parking is high..never remembered that. Take it back down to the basics. Love the glover park music series Concerts except what's the deal with people putting chairs out at 12 pm for an 8pm concert is not fair to people who work or live far.

What struck me most about Marietta Square was its welcoming ambiance. The park's friendly atmosphere and sense of community made me feel right at home. Despite being a popular destination, the park never felt overcrowded or overwhelming. Instead, it felt like a peaceful oasis in the midst of the bustling city.

Always enjoy the square when I visit! Favorite stop is The Australian bakery for a pie and great coffee. Always stop in the candy store and grab unique goodies for the kids back home. The unique shops are always a treat. Eaten at many of the restaurants and they've never let me down. Pick up dinner at Paul's Pot pies for a delightful dinner you just pop in the oven!

It is a very nice place. There are many trees and benches to get fresh air, the food and craft stalls have many friendly people attending.Dog-friendliness: You just have to have your dog or leash and clean up if is pooped

Great place to hang out and walk around. Fantastic restaurants, shops, and an art gallery. On a regular day parking is easy. During a festival parking is a nightmare!

Had a great day hanging out and getting lunch down on the square. Met a vendor while sippin on some bubble tea (see photo). Got an awesome bracelet for my kid from him. Had lunch at the Market and looked in a bunch of shops! Visited with Emily in the art gallery which was amazing. Love this downtown. Dallas should take notes!Playground: Playground was small, but my youngest loved it.Restrooms: Public, open, and clean restroomsDog-friendliness: Almost every place had dogs welcome signs or bowls out front.

We love coming to Marietta Square. They have events going on about every other month. They also have farmers market on weekends until 11AM. Lots of restaurants, coffee shops, bubble tea place.

It's a lovely square. A nice little playground. Lots to do around it. Unfortunately, recently there has been a guy blasting his religious music so loud that no one can enjoy themselves and the cops told me they can't do anything about him (which according to the cobb County website isn't true). So, until everyone can enjoy themselves there, we won't be going.
