We had a reservation and were seated right away. It was a Mother's Day Buffet Brunch and there was a very nice assortment of food and it was ALL delicious! At $50/person, the price was fair, and if they keep it this way we will be back next year!
Great variety on the Mothers Day buffet menu. Friendly staff and nice flower for the Moms. Only ding in the score is the prime rib was mostly overcooked. Couldn't find a rare or really even medium rare. The rest of items all tasted great.
We made reservations for a 7 PM dinner with our son on Thursday Feb 20. When we arrived about 5 minutes early, the Host seated us promptly at a booth next to the Server Stand. The host took our drink orders and of course gave us our menus. About 10 minutes later our waitress came to the table to bring water, which is always welcome. She inquired about a drink order and I advised that the Host had taken our order when we were seated. She said she would go an check. About 10 minutes later, our waitress came back to say that our drink order was being prepared: We had a VT, GT & BC. She wanted to know if we were ready to order. I said no, we would like our drinks first before we ordered any food. And I asked, what is taking so long for drinks? Her tart reply was that if you want to go and push the order, do so. And walked off. We waited 5 more minutes and decided to walk out. As we approached the front door, the host and our waitress were both standing there talking. We were not asked why, we were not apologized to nor were we asked what can we do to make things better. This was like our 5th time going to the location. I know it does not matter to you, but it was our last as service at this location has almost always been subpar. Jerry Lloyd
I gave this sports bar / restaurant a second chance and it will be the last. The service was all over the place. The place was empty ish but that's to be expected the night after Superbowl. That said our order was wrong from start to finish. Wrong soup, appetizer was on the wrong bill, wrong wings for two people. And drinks were charged double the advertised price. Double. There's a problem here and management should watch closer.
Server was a walking robot. Was not attentive and even though it was not very busy, she (Robbie) rarely made eye contact to see if we needed things. (which at times we did). If we ever get her again, we will ask to be moved or leave.
The food was good but the service was terrible while restaurant was only half full. We tried to order cocktails and our waitress told us not to because the bartender didn’t know how to make them and we would just send them back. While I appreciate her telling us that, it’s crazy to think that they have a bartender that cannot make the drinks. After initially ordering food we never saw our waitress again. We needed refills on drinks that we never got. Had to wait forever for our food and had to ask other staff members for items like ketchup, etc. i want to like this place but the service is very frustrating.

The food and atmosphere was outstanding. The service however was severely lacking. Serabi was our server. Despite being able to see an empty glass, we had to request a refill, upon naming that request, the eye rolling was like dealing with a teenager. I'll give five stars for mediocre food with impressive service. But shitty service will kill the best of meals.

I so hate to write an awful review for McCrays, but they’ve got it coming. Time after time their service has been horrible, but today was the breaking point for me. There were three tables with parties of 6–8 each and all the rest of their tables and booths were open. 15 minutes after being seated I got up and asked who my waiter was. Someone dropped off a carafe of water and said they were shortstaffed but the waiter would be right over. 15 minutes after that the waiter still didn’t come. So I got up and told the waiter that since they didn’t have time to wait on a party of one after a thirty minute wait, I was leaving. He just said OK. The manager of this McCrays needs to be fired as does about half their wait staff. They have a wonderful concept and great food but the frustration of hit or miss service gets to be too much..

Took 1.5 hours to get our food and it wasn't very hot. Ordered a specialty drink that didn't arrive with the other drinks, then the waiter said the bartender was too busy to make it. Meanwhile I had nothing to drink for 30 min while the rest of my party had theirs. Got charged for the drink anyway. Asked for the candle to be lit on our table so we could see the menu - that never happened. No one even explained what was going on with the food delay. This was super embarrassing to have invited out of town guests for a fun, casual evening and it turn out like this. McCrays, where is your manager on nights like this?
Reservation at 8. They closed at 7:30. They worked us in anyway when we showed up at 7:45.

I'm sadly writing a negative review for what was one of my first and favorite restaurants when moving to East Cobb several years ago. The food and service as McCray's Tavern seems to have unfortunately taken a turn (RIP Taven Dip!). Tonight we ordered the pretzel, tavern salad, and a matador sandwich. From being seated to appetizer on the table was over 45 minutes. A couple that was sat after us received their full order before we received our drinks. The waiter "forgot" our drinks and silverware while we were waiting. The house mustard with the pretzel was either improperly mixed with vinegar or had turned and was inedible. It was so thin it wouldn't stick to the pretzel or a knife. I guess you'd drink it? My wife's salad was ordered with salmon and no tomatoes. It was first delivered with fried chicken, and once it was re delivered with the salmon, it had none of the listed vegetables except the tomatoes. My matador sandwich with fried chicken was bland as if it had been prepared with no seasoning. The manager asked us about our dining experience before our food was served. We asked about the mustard and recieved no confirmation if it had been prepared correctly only a, "ew, yeah..." from his when he saw it. He asked if we were interested in desert, which we declined after the long wait and poor food experience we had had up to this point. Our waiter was quiet and made little comment about the delays. I would say the restaurant was about half full at the time with two large tables that had been served and were paying as we were eating. There was a large party in the bar area that had a buffet setup, but they were finishing up when we arrived. I wouldn't say it was busy when we were there, but at the end of the dinner rush.
Hoping for improvement, but we will be steering clear for a while.

Great place to take your wife or anyone on a date! Plus for the people that love to watch Television, there are no seats that can't see a TV!!
