McCray's Tavern - East Cobb

Very rarely do I leave a bad rating but I was just so OVER our meal today. Typically we never have an issue with service in Atlanta but our server today was so disengaged I couldn’t wait to get out of there. We had to ask for utensils, she never gave my 2 year old a cup of his own and at the end of the meal when she finally remembers she never even gave him a straw. Of course we don’t mind sharing our drinks with him but when we go out we shouldn’t have to.. The condiments that we asked for (which we had to remind our server twice for) came literally as we paid for the meal. I also had to go to the host stand to try to pay because I rarely saw the server. The whole interaction was just odd. How do you serve someone and forget their beverage the entire time? Not even provide a cup! Not to mention she apologized for forgetting everything while she was laughing about it.. We LOVE McCrays in Smyrna and frequent that location often but the service we had here was horrendous!

Second time my husband and I have come here for their Taco Tuesday deal! The three tacos I got were perfect! And you can’t beat $3 chips and salsa. It also happened to be kids night so they had Zootopia playing and tbh, it was cute and we didn’t mind it! They also had multiple screens on with the news and football - so something for everyone! We will definitely be back for another night (possibly trivia night or live music night!!)

Staff is very friendly! McCrays offers Friday night bar bites as well as Gameday Specials on Saturday and Sunday. Come in for delicious “Fan Fuuel” and 8 screens for sports events!

Kristen was so awesome. She is a dog lover. We had a great meal and wine on the patio and met our new good friend. We will be back on the patio with our dogs very soon!

We both had salmon. Husband has salmon entree, I had salmon boy sandwich. Both of our meals were waaaaay too salty. I couldn’t finish mine. They need to fix this!

Took my sister for her first American burger as she was visiting from abroad. It was Thursday night and they had the burger special. Sister didn’t like it . I had some wings which were good.

Waiter for very nice and helpful . Ambience was beautiful and clean.
