We loved this place! The vibe was awesome, the food was fantastic! Service was good and we got our food extremely quick. 10/10 recommended!

We eat here often and the only complaint I have is that the servers sometimes do not pay close attention to the borders and then food comes out prepared incorrectly. Otherwise, we like this place a lot.

Average food for the price. Shakes are just not good. The whipped cream to ice cream ratio is wrong. The shakes are primarily whipped cream. The service is fast and friendly and the vibe is cool.

Went in hoping to have the experience I had the one other time I was there. Friend and I sat at the bar for 10 minutes (closer to 15) were given waters and not spoken to again. We left and went down the shopping center to @mamitaco served immediately 2nd round of drinks quicker than our waters at melt. The ambiance is nice and fun stuff is attractive but if you can’t follow through why would I go? Don’t cut the floor so early or pay the FOH more so you can keep the right amount of staff

Food was good
Service lacked tremendous effort from the waitress, she paid no attention to us
Maybe she was having a bad day. I left a note on the merchant copy regarding it. Not sure if i’d return even if they sponsor my kids school

This wasn’t my first time at Melt Yard. We visited over the summer and absolutely loved the themed atmosphere of the restaurant, so we decided to come back. Unfortunately, this time was during the holiday season when the restaurant was themed around Home Alone. While the décor was awesome, the issue lies with how the management handles wait times.

I understand that during the holidays, wait times can be long—especially for popular spots—but I don’t appreciate being misled. We arrived at 6:02 PM and were told there would be an hour-long wait. That was fine, so we decided to get some drinks and spend money playing pinball to pass the time.

However, 7:02 came and went, and we were still waiting. By 7:30, we approached the front desk to ask about our table. They told us that people were taking longer than expected and we'd need to keep waiting. At this point, we had already been waiting far longer than the promised hour. At 7:32 PM, we were buzzed but were told there was still a wait time. We decided to leave, and by the time we received another buzz letting us know our table was ready, it was 8:18 PM—over two hours after the initial estimate.

Please stop providing inaccurate wait times. Some of us have children, and if you're honest from the beginning—not just trying to keep us around to spend more on games and drinks—we can make informed decisions.

Food prices were excessive compared to what order.

Came in at 6PM and we were quoted 40 minutes. After an hour, we went up to the counter to ask if they could tell us how much time there was left. Keep in mind that we had plans after dinner, so the accurate waiting time was important. We were told that we were number 2 on the list, so we decided to keep our spot. Another hour later, our name was finally called. We waited for an hour and 55 minutes when we were quoted 40.

While waiting, we noticed the hostesses give out extremely varying waiting times and they seemed to not really know what they were doing. The same girl quoted a family 45 minutes and quoted the next family 2 hours only a few minutes later. The girls were very nice and kind, but I think it’s on management to train them on how to give out correct wait times. I wish that they could have been more accurate with their timing, as we unfortunately had to miss our plans that we had for after dinner.

Team celebration for work. Bartender was not friendly or welcoming.

Oh lord…where do I even begin; the hour and 40 minute wait (we were quoted 30-45 mins), or the horrific service??

We were quoted 30/45 minutes. It was busy, so that didn’t bother me. What DID was waiting an hour and 40 minutes! We got there at 9 and didn’t sit until 10:40. What’s crazier is that there were multiple dirty tables and the host kept telling people “well you can sit at them, but they’ll stay dirty for a while.” Apparently, what we were all waiting on were the servers to want to take our tables, according to her, which they didn’t because management apparently schedules everyone poorly and all of them were ready to leave.

When we did finally sit down, the server didn’t tell us her name and rushed us the entire time. I ordered multiple appetizers for us. Not only did the appetizers come before the food, they didn’t come AT ALL! Our waitress had forgotten to put them in and then blamed the kitchen. We waited fifteen minutes after we got our food for refills, and we needed them when the food first came out. And when she did finally bring them to us, she completely neglected my sisters lemonade and we had to share.

SUCH an unprofessional experience. I work in a restaurant, so every “explanation” they tried to give me was obviously dumb. Like, just be honest—from the wait to the food.

The food was good. Not good enough to come back and expensive as HELL. Atmosphere was cute, if you can put up w everything else. I just can’t lol.

DISAPPOINTED. My friend and I were so excited to finally try this place and the service was absolutely horrible. I politely asked the hostess if we could move to a table instead, but if it was too much of a hassle I told her not to worry about it, but she said it was fine and moved us. We closed out our original tab and told our new server we would get another round with her and asked if we could get waters. The servers acted like we sat ourselves and we were never checked up on again. We were being mean mugged the whole time, our food was basically thrown to our face along with the checks not saying a word to us and server kept rolling their eyes. Food and drinks are not worth this type of disrespect.

Decor was fun. Food was frozen to table. Nothing fresh. Milkshake was thin liquid. Did not taste any ice cream. Price was high for food that was taken out of a box and put in an oven. Service was so fast we felt like we were being pushed out the whole time to make room for the next patrons. This was not in the control of the owner, but the firework shop across the street lit fireworks several times that sounded like shots fired. Scared us to death. We could not wait to leave. We did not eat most of our food and fled for the hills. Sorry for the unfavorable review.
