Ok, they redeemed themselves!

I've been here a few times since my original review & it's quickly become one of my favorite spots!

They're consistently delicious, budget friendly, & the portion sizes are decent too.

This is a true take out spot where you order ya food and go. They do have seats to wait for your meal, but that's it.

I hope this gem of a spot stays consistent & I love that it's local too!

Service was great no complaints! Food was phenomenal, I ordered the catfish dinner with yams and greens and The wing dinner with Greene and macaroni and cheese and one side of potato salad. Also, we had two different types of Kool-Aid that they offer in a small jugs.

A Gem in the community! Perfect soul food fix without having to go downtown! Love the whiting and boy that white bread to go with it!!!!! The yams, potato salad, fries and baked beans are allll amazing!

I Hated it! As a Black Man, they tricked me. This Is Not Soul Food. The food was Bland and YT tasting.... And there were No Black Ppl there, it was All Migos and the food had No Soul.... This is False advertisement, this is Not Black Soul Food!

I placed an order through uber eats. I must say I was really impressed with my food. I order 10 piece special lemon pepper wings with garlic mashed potatoes and okra. The wings were fried to perfection. The garlic mashed potatoes were creamy with small chucks of potato in just how I like it. The okra was good but could have used a lil more seasoning to me. But I just dipped them in the special sauce under my wings and that took them up a notch. The lemonade was a little small for the price but it was good. Overall I would give my food a 9 out of 10. It’s a little pricey but well worth it.
