Nicks Smoke House

Stopped for lunch and thought it was expensive. Service and food good. My lunch consisted of hamburger steak, smothered, mashed potatoes and gravy, speckled butter beans and one small cornbread. I had water to drink. Doubt I will go there again when I can go to Carol’s for half the price.

We met up with a dear friend from our college days for a wonderful breakfast at Big Nick's in Marietta. You place your order at the register and the food is served at your choice of tables. The grits were perfect! Great service and exceptional southern breakfast fare!

Best home-style southern cooking around. Had chicken livers, black eyed peas, fried green tomatoes, and cornbread today. Tomatoes were obviously hand-breaded, crispy and delicious. Chicken livers were tender and tasty. Server was friendly and efficient.

We have driven past this restaurant for years. Today, finally gave it a try. Me and 2 friends at there. One has eaten there before and two of us was our first time. We loved it. I had waffles with chicken and eggs. Was delish. Friends had different lunches and they very much enjoyed. Would definitely go back. Staff all seemed super nice as well!

Awesome hamburger steak! Side dish selections were plentiful. I had mashed potatoes and fried green tomatoes and they are really really good. And we are able to fit outside.

Best fried chicken livers in Atlanta! Couple with some classic Southern sides, and youll be a happy camper!

While in the area searching on my phone looking for good places around the area to eat we found this place. So happy that we did! It is a very small hole in the wall kind of place that you probably wouldn't even notice. Upon entering we were greeted, and told how to order at the front counter. We ordered our foods and desserts. We sat and our foods were brought out to our table once ready. Service was great! Our foods tasted Amazing! My husband and I both had the hamburger steak patty with our 2 sides. Our daughter had the 4 vegetable plate. Desserts we had were: Red Velvet Cake, Coconut Cake, and Banana Pudding, all Fantastic!! We can't complain about anything!! Would highly recommend anyone to eat here and when we are back in the area this will for sure be a stop on our list!! Thanks Come-N-Get it for all the Smiles and the Awesome, Amazing Foods! A friend recommended this southern food restaurant to my husband for my birthday dinner. It did not disappoint. Great food and staff.

I was so excited and hungry going in, ordered veg plate Got mac and cheese (aweful), squash Casserole, equally aw., collard greens (not good), and cream corn (more cream than corn, not great). Texas toast was not toasted and only a small circle in the middle. I had to go to another restaurant to eat cause I could not eat it.

If you are craving authentic southern fare, this is the place to go. I grew up in the South and the menu & preparation are as genuine as it comes.

We weren't; in the mood for "family style" food but it was the only restaurant near Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield that had decent reviews. The restaurant was hopping. The owner was running the register. They were out of a lot of things because they were so busy, but he made it right for us and gave us a discount. He was very friendly and outgoing and so were the other staff. Some of the signs on the walls were fun (I haven't had my coffee yet. Don't make me kill you") or conservative (we back the blue, pledge of allegiance) but overall it was retro family friendly feel with a pretty good selection of menu items. My daughter and I are gluten-free and we had BBQ and shrimp and grits with two sides each (sweet potato casserole and mashed potatoes) that were good. My daughter also had a strawberry milkshake that she said was good! I would go there again.

This is a great spot if you like consistent, home cooked meals. Good choice for meat and vegetables. Fresh brewed ice tea. Friendly staff.

Just some good home cooking with great service. A nice and simple local restaurant! Open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
