Came here today with my very picky bf, and myself as a vegetarian looking for some sides and we left so happy and are now dedicated to becoming regulars! Ms. Pat and her son were very welcoming and so friendly, and they made our food the freshest as fresh can be and I was happy to wait! She handed it to us and said I know you will enjoy it and we had no doubts. IT WAS DELICIOUS, EVERYTHING. The prices are amazing compared to literally anywhere else. I got the veggie plate (cabbage, mac, fried okra and cornbread) for $11, (compare that to $18-$25 somewhere else), while bf had their $6 fried chicken special with a side (you read that right $6 and he damn loved every bite) and the quality was better than when I have dined somewhere "fancy" and hated everything I ordered for $30. CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK TOMORROW. I FINALLY FOUND MY SOULFOOD HEAVEN!

One of the best Soulfood restaurant in Cobb County. Family oriented and friendly customer service. But the food, the food is soooo bomb!!! Fried chicken - fried to perfection yet juicy. I don't like collard greens but I love eating Ms. Pat's greens, it's seasoned so well. I love that the food is prepared as you wait and it hasn't been sitting in its juices all day long.

I got the turkey wing with dressing, Mac and cheese and cabbage. I’m gonna be honest, The mac & cheese was bland not seasoned at all, the noodles were severely over cooked. The cabbage was plain and had an aftertaste of like pork or something but not seasoned. The turkey wings were seasoned OK but they were a little dry not the best I’ve had. the dressing and the gravy, or the giblet that they had along with the turkey meat was weird. The dressing was OK but I had a heavy aftertaste of sage or some type of seasoning and the gravy was bland and had some chunks of white stuff in it I’m not sure what it was maybe it was the turkey meat but it tasted funny.

I have the smothered beef tips. Husband had the baked chicken! First let me say the people here are so nice and inviting! With that being said, we waited about 15 minutes for our plates. The sides I got were Mac n cheese and yams and the mac n cheese was water down no cheese at all more like it was made with a soup base. The beef tips were seasoned nice but the rice was extremely undercooked. It was crunchy and the beef tips were served over top- so it was very difficult to pick through the uncooked rice! My husband also didn’t enjoy his meal. Maybe we came on a bad day.
