Very flavorful dishes with good spice level. The meals I received were of good quantity. Restaurant is just average in side but that is OK when the food is good. Getting your food can sometimes take a little wait.
This is my absolute staple Caribbean spot in Atlanta. Portions are massive. Definitely a 2 part meal, a some for now and some for later type portion. The flavor is incredible and so authentic. Monetary value is so on point, I would spend my money everyday here for lunch if I lived closer. They don’t skimp you on the portions and you feel like you’re getting major bang for your buck. They definitely could open up a bigger restaurant and create a vibe that could rival some other popular Caribbean restaurants in ATL simply because their food trumps everyone else.
When they have it in, I always get the curry goat. Food portion is one reason I come back. This is the curry goat I ordered. 6-7 small, fatty pieces. One big piece to make it look like something. Pieces so small, you can literally sit them on the edge without falling off. It wasn't spicy AT ALL. All for a whopping $23!! And I'm no where near full. With Paulees helpings, I can get full off 1/2 the meal, and full off the other half later. Outside of that, the taste was just okay. Not the "I cant wait to go back" taste I'm used to getting. If Paulee would've been there, I'm sure I would not have had this experience! Silo yeah, no, I won't be going back. I'm so displeased.
My boyfriend just brought me this for lunch and it is amazing! J*** chicken meal was nice and authentic! Will be visiting again soon. Found a nice Caribbean place in Marietta! Yay! No more Golden Krust or Mangos ! Hidden Gem !!!
Some of the best j*** I've ever had. I went with my parents and we tried the chicken, pork, and goat. Everything was fantastic, service was incredible. Cozy setting with delicious food!
I would give this 5 stars if the owner had been there. My last two experiences were awesome. I went in today and no one was there to greet, the gentleman apparently was sleep in the office and after me saying hello numerous times he finally came out. I repeated my order twice, rice/peas with oxtail gravy, plantains and collards. The second time he repeated. When I got home there were no collards but cabbage instead. My plantains were too dry to even eat. I was really disappointed this go round.
BEWARE!!! Ordered oxtails, the portion was a mixture of Neck Bones, two small pieces of oxtails and a lot of fat that looked like streak of lean bacon. All smothered in what appeared to be oxtail gravy.I called to address the fraud and the woman originally tried to Bush it off with telling me some babble about things changed since Covid. I'm not sure what that means exactly. Did Covid cause an ox's tail to turn into a cow's neck? My plan was to be there this morning when they open but I got called into work today. I've transferred these nec bones two days and will trash them but not before I warn others. I guess if you don't know the difference and want to pay over 21.00 for the cheapest meat on the market, this is the place!
The food is amazing, the service is great, and the ambiance is calming, Will be back
Best Caribbean food in Marietta. Get the J*** Chicken if you like spicy food. I cry as I eat it. I don't care. That stuff is stupid good. If you don't like spice, get the Curry Chicken. It's just as good without the shame. Service is awesome. Paulee is very welcoming.
This place used to be one of my favorite places to go for lunch when I worked on this side of town and now I only can only get here when I get my car serviced. After not being here since before CoVid I said since I am on this side of town why not visit my old fav and I was so disappointed. The woman who used to be there wasn’t there anymore and the gentleman there now is very friendly but not exactly the best at running the place. They ran out of food during lunch time, no Mac and cheese no plantains. I ordered the oxtails and a few weren’t cooked well (tuff, meat not falling off the bone) and the rice and peas tasted like they were burnt. The greens were just ok. I’m sad to say I won’t be going back to Paulee’s.

Jamaican food is always great. They have a great service and prices. Friendly people too
Best. Food in town hands down
The food was notGood today The rice and peas taste scorched the cabbage could’ve been cooked a little longer
Absolutely the best J*** Chicken in the area and it's really not close. The flavor and the tenderness of the chicken has seriously ruined all other J*** Chicken for me, because this is now my standard. The rice and beans compliment the chicken perfectly and the cabbage is a good break from the spice. The spice levels here are higher than other places on average, but it's also varied a decent bit. Huge portions and staff is always very friendly and welcoming. If you like Caribbean food, you have to try this place at least once.
I tried to call the store personally and let her know how upset I was with the low portion of oxtails I received from her, that were mostly bones and barely any meat and I have a photo, I only received 4 pieces of oxtail - big bones barely meat - the rice n peas taste very old and kinda burnt , instead of her caring about my concerns in which I politely relayed to her, she instead began to yell at me over the phone and tried to deny everything even though I have a photo! Personally when I come any other time her husband is there instead, and he handles business way better in giving quality in food and portion ! But this time around because of her I can't even enjoy my food due to the low quality, it was nasty (the rice n peas) and the oxtail is brassy (meat) - wasted $33 on food I can't even really eat only thing I could try to eat were the collard greens, other than that a waste of a whole plate
