Came for my anniversary
Had the special which on that day were raviolis and my wife had the pasta with pork chops I believe
Very good pairing with a peroni.
For dessert the cannoli were big and delicious I regret not asking for them to be chocolate dipped.
My wife had the tiramisu which was ok.
And at the end the nonna came to say hi.
Would come back again

This is an AMAZING Italian restaurant! We lived in Italy for a few months and I can say that the food here was amazing! They pride themselves on using fresh ingredients (as they do in Italy) and making all the pasta in-house (you can tell). Salads were very fresh and the fish special we had was delizioso! MJ was our server and she was a delight. Honestly I don’t understand why the reviews for this place are way better. It was a fabulous meal. We will be back!!

We’re celebrating our anniversary today and she wished us well and many years of happiness which was very kind. We've eaten here a couple of times and tried (and enjoyed) a variety of entrees. Everything we've tried has been wonderful. We ordered the arancini appetizer - it was a little piece of heaven. We recommend Piastra to anyone who asks for an excellent Italian restaurant.

No recommendations or suggestions made as how to remedy the situation and make the customer happy. That discourages me from patronizing this establishment. The manager clearly needs a refresher course on customer service and customer satisfaction.Your response should have been sorry you didn't have a pleasant experience. Went there last night. It’s the first and last time I’ll go there. It may be fine for spaghetti or pizza I can’t say. My wife’s veal was tough and not very tasty. I ordered a dish with mussels and clams. Not very much of either and the pasta it was served with was not worth eating. I could go on but I’ll stop here. The service was good and the atmosphere is inviting. But there are a few much better Italian restaurants to choose from.

We came here after our courthouse wedding ceremony and had made a reservation to celebrate afterwards with our families (we were a group of 10). The restaurant was not that busy, but somehow it took over an hour to get our entrees. Besides the service being extremely slow, the biggest problem was our waiter John - not once during that time (>1 hour) did our server come to check in on us, give us any updates or refill our waters. He avoided our glances every time we tried to catch his attention. He looked very stressed but would spend time just standing around or pacing back and forth in front of the kitchen. When our dishes finally came out, my tagliatelle (supposedly their specialty) was a sad clump of congealed noodles stuck together. No one finished their dishes, we were all just tired and ready to go home after being there for 2 hours. Needless to say, we will not be coming back and it was an unfortunate end to an otherwise happy occasion.

Pretty good atmosphere and the drinks were good. The kitchen has always been extremely slow, so don't go there if you're on a clock. Also, they seem to be selective with who they offer bread to. I was at the bar and ordered dinner, would likely have stayed longer and got another drink or two if I had some bread.
