This was such an unfortunate experience. I have worked in food and beverage for over 10 years and never seen this type of behavior. We were seated on their dog-friendly patio with our two dogs. One of our dogs growled at the server as he was setting the food on our table. She was simply being protective, she is not aggressive and rarely even growls. Either way, my boyfriend apologized for her growling and the server makes a comment that it wasn't cool, something along those lines. The server then accused my boyfriend of "smiling" regarding the growling and starts mocking him, making a hand motion to my boyfriend from the top of the stairs at the entrance of the restaurant, (imagine a "yap yap" hand motion) while in view of the entire outdoor patio, probably at least 20 different people. It was appalling. Then, after my boyfriend (who has worked in food and beverage for over 15 years) goes to complain inside about the server's behavior, the owner attempts to make an apology to us, but instead delivers us a backhanded "apology" saying it "didn't matter who was wrong or right" followed by accusing our dog at growling at him as well. Keep in mind this is a "dog friendly" patio that I can assure you they reap ample benefit from having. However, based on the treatment we received, I wouldn't recommended bringing your furry friends nor your human friends here! Plenty of other nice places to check out.

The food is spectacular and the drinks are good. Owners are very welcoming and I love that they play some spanish music. Reminds me of home.

I went to a surprise party that was held downstairs. It was perfect! Our bartender, Taco, was amazing. She sang and danced with us, also had our drink orders ready in a timely manner. The food was great, too! We had beef empanadas, chicken empanadas, cheese empanadas, and also spinach cheese mushroom empanadas. There were a few other appetizers that I’d never heard of and it was all very delicious!!! Would love to go back and have a sit down meal. Highly recommend!

Let me start this review by saying I have had so many Cuban sandwiches after living in Tampa Bay for years. This is hands down the best Cuban sandwich I have EVER had. The owner and staff were also incredibly nice. I got the sandwich with a sides of yuca fritas and those were also amazing. Definitely going to come back and can't wait to try the rum made in house.

I already loved this place, but now I love it even more. We rented out the Rabbit Hole - their downstairs bar for my birthday. We got appetizers for everyone and had our own bartender. They also let me link up my own music. It was so good and so tasty. I usually drink their beer (I love Rewired) but the mojito was so good I actually drank those instead. I highly recommend!!
Very bummed to see the drink menu changed since last year ~; please bring back the rum punch!! Mai Tai ok but not as fruity. My husband enjoyed his drink. Service still good and will always be our go to During our yearly visit to chalktoberfest.

Finally got a chance to try Red Hare! Ordered a passion fruit margarita, chicken empanadas, enchilado de camarones and tres leches. Everything was so good! The bartender and server were super nice! Will definitely go back!

Was a regular gust until the last time when an arrogant and rude manager woman told me they will not serve me anymore. This was after she overheard my conversation I had with another guest, criticizing organized religions and the US shadow government. This place violated my 1st amendment right - all normal people, stay away from this "church heaven"

From the moment my wife and I walked in, our server Colin made us feel like family. The service was exquisite. The food was delicious and definitely requires follow-up visits to explore the remainder of the menu. The ambiance was relatively quiet, but it was a Sunday night so I won't hold that against them! They had a great playlist and it definitely brought the vibes up. I highly recommend the Mojito, and the R+R. Both are fantastic and will leave you wanting more! The Cubano is a must try as is the Guava BBQ sandwich. Mmmm mmmm yummy! The Cuban hats on the wall evoked a certain feel that can only be found at Red Hare! Looking forward to coming back for a trivia night on Wednesday at 7:30pm!
