By all means, White folks BBQ and cooking. It's a NO for me. I've been here in Georgia (from Cali) for 19 years and have NOT found good BBQ here yet. They just don't know what that is here. It's similar to equating Tex-Mex cooking to great authentic Mexican. The two don't compare. Hands down, authentic Mexican is BETTER. The BBQ here reminds me of the tex-mex. Not authentic or good!

The barbecued chicken with white sauce is fantastic! The sweet tea is just right. The coleslaw is nice and creamy with fresh cabbage. The chips are made here and are a little bit spicy for my taste, but they are fresh and crispy.

Well, maybe because it was Monday evening 6 p.m., but place was empty. I even had to call out and whistle to get someone to come to the counter. My daughter said they all seemed half asleep. Although our food was not bad, it was mediocre. Got the Soul Saver Sandwich, which was loaded. But meats were dry and not that tasty. And for the 3 of us it was pricey. What you see in my pics, $63 with the 15% tip which you pay before even getting the food. Cost to quality not met. They even handed me a potatoe salad I did not order which I handed back. I did get what I ordered, except they did not give me the side of chips I ordered and probably paid for and I forgot to ask for my receipt, which should have been offered to me anyway. There was also a rack of jarred sauces next to the register I was checking out as I heard their white sauce was good. But all of the jars of white sauce were not properly sealed and the center of the lids was popped up. So wouldn't buy that! I mentioned this to the kid behind the counter and he shrugged saying he didn't know anything about the product and the lids being popped. My daughter warned me but I said I would give them a try. Well, should have listened to her. Will not be going back. No one in my family will be going in the future.
Update: The owner apologized and refunded my purchase. He said this was not normal and they would do better. Thank you. I may try again.

The ribs were warm and juicy and fell off the bone when bit off, perfection in my book. Mac and cheese and potato salad were not great. Banana pudding smooth, chunky, and delicious. We were there for a birthday and the service was generous.
