Their beef is pretty good. I could eat the brisket every day. Wasn't a huge fan of the pork, and the sides I've had are hit or miss, but I haven't tried them all. The greens are ok (not vegetarian/vegan), and I like their chili usually. The chili does get a bit of a scorched taste if you go later in the day. Not a fan of the Mac. It's dry, and just isn't that good. The staff are very nice though, I haven't had any bad experience in that regard. Overall, I will return for the items that are tried and true for me.

Stopped by Righetous 'Que when I was in the area. I periodically like to hunt for the best brisket. I don't think I found that, but I still found a very good meal.Prices at Righteous 'Que are competitive. I really wish I saw the Pat Bowl special. Look at the chalk board that is mid-way between the door and the counter on your way in for potentially interesting specials. Instead, I got a brisket sandwich, fries, and a drink.Biggest highlight of Righteous 'Que is the fact that they have Cherry Coke on the soda fountain. I'll one day make a 100% commitment to not being a fat fool anymore, but til then, Cherry Coke is amazing.Food was good. Portioning of the brisket was more than fair. I just wish it could've been more than meat and bread. A sandwich doesn't have to be too fancy. I would've loved two slices of pickles. An empire was built off a sandwich garnished with only 2 slices of pickles.

I came for the brisket and it didn't disappoint. It's hard to find in the southeast because it's not a part of the barbecue scene, but it's becoming more popular. The restaurant is clean, service fast and friendly. Definitely worth going out of my way.

As someone coming from out of state it was a very interesting experience. Aside from the location being not too far from my hotel the environment was very welcoming. Employees were very helpful in making my decision. I chose to go with the pull pork sandwich and I gotta say the choice of sauce (white sauce) the employees recommended really hit the spot. Unfortunately could not follow up with any pictures as it was gone before I realized to take a picture. Definitely would come back to try more of the menu.

Service was great and thankful for the recommendations that were given. I would have never thought to order a taco at a bbq establishment. It was amazing and loved it! The spot is inviting and lots of open space to sit, bring a group, or just hang by yourself. So glad I popped in and tried it.

I can definitely see where they get the name. Everything about my first visit was righteous! Counter style restaurant that sells you meat by the ounce, walk up, tell them your weight and what sides and you're eating within 5 minutes of stepping in the restaurant. I tried some pork and brisket on this visit and both were to my liking. They have a sweet, spicy and white vinegar based sauces. All are great! If you like well done BBQ this spot hits!
