Authentic Japanese style sushi at this East Cobb staple. If you want rice heavy sushi with little filling this is not the place. We also love the udon and Chicken Katsu dishes. A great small business worth supporting!

We recently visited Sakura Sushi Bar. It wasn’t busy at all, but it still took a surprisingly long time for our food to arrive. I had asked for a fried sushi roll listed on the menu, but the server recommended a “special” off-menu option instead. I agreed to try it, but unfortunately, it was very disappointing. It came out on a tiny plate, the roll was very thin, lacked flavor, and definitely not worth the $20 price tag. I was really let down, both by the portion size and the taste.

On the other hand, my husband ordered sashimi, which he really enjoyed. It was fresh, delicious, and well-presented—even though it was also on the pricier side.

Overall, the experience was mixed: slow service, overpriced food, and an underwhelming fried sushi, but good quality sashimi.

Sushi was good/fresh, a little expensive. My girls ordered the mermaid and pirate rolls - very good. I ordered the spicy salmon HR. Took 35 minutes for them to bring my girls' foo and 45 to bring mine (needless to say the girls had finished by the ). The waitress was sweet, but had forgotten whether she had brought me my food. Did she forget to put in the order? Was the chef exceptionally slow? No efforts were made to make it right either. The food was good, but the service left a bad taste in my mouth.

This place is a go to! Never had a bad item and have been here a couple times a year for the past 5 years or so. Both of the sushi chefs have a lot of passion for this place and it shows in their sushi!

Best sushi in town! This place needs more recognition. No need to go to Downtown for great sushi. King of Sea and Papa is my favorite.

The sushi is so good I recommend the Tokyo roll it’s the best one

The food and service was excellent. However there was a weird sulphur/gas like smell that detracted from the meal a little bit.
