My husband and I had a wonderful meal at Spring. The service and food were top tier. We can’t wait to see the restaurant after the renovations and eventually try the new location when it opens.

Excellent service and food. Nice atmosphere, just wish the space was a bit larger for privacy. Would definitely return.

Anniversary occasion at the Spring Restaurant in Marietta was a success. Excellent food and service.
We started with a crusty artisan bread with an amazing butter that was blended with herbs and salt. I could have made a meal of just the bread it was so tasty.
The beet and fig salad was refreshing and light.
Next we chose the Ajo Blanco a cold soup with sliced grapes and a delicious whitish base. Hard to describe adequately but suffice it to say very refreshing.
My wife had the Cappelletti, which after tasting it I wanted more and will order it when we next go back. The pasta was so light and the sauce delicate and creamy.
I had the flatiron steak medium rare that was cooked perfectly. This cut of beef is usually not as tender as others but surprisingly the chef at Spring did his/her magic and delivered a flavorful and very tender entree.
For desert we had the lemon tart and rice pudding. With a cup of very nice coffee (Cool Beans) it was the perfect end to an amazing meal.
The server Josh did a great job. Attentive but not overly obvious. Good job to all.
The menu changes so I included a picture of it. Very small menu but excellently done. I would recommend checking out the menu prior to going to ensure the offerings were agreeable.
The train going past the restaurant added a nostalgic element but may be seen by others as loud. I did not and enjoyed experience.

This is one of the best meals I have had in a long time. Amazing intimate atmosphere, intentional menu with DELICIOUS dishes, great wine selection and impeccable service. A fine dining experience without the snobbery. Highly recommend.

The atmosphere was extremely bland. It’s like they put zero attention to the surroundings. White wall, wooden table, and wood chairs. That’s about all you get. We also kept hearing rave reviews about the food and found it to be average for the price point . Not bad but didn’t blow us away.

I don't like to leave bad reviews, but i figure Ill try to save at least one person from experiencing this place. For starters Id like to say the service was top notch, no complaints there. The atmosphere was just mediocre, nothing fancy on the inside that would make you think you are eating at a fine dining establishment, the location was nice being on the Marietta square. Now for the negatives. The food was a major disappointment. They use very cheap ingredients ( chicken liver, flat iron cuts, etc) I ordered the seared bluefin tuna as my snack, chicken liver parfait as my starter, flat iron as my main, and the lemon tart for dessert. The bluefin tasted like slightly fishy yellowfin. I love tuna and it was definitely edible, but it did have a slightly fishy taste. The sauce on it did not pair well with it either, it kind of tasted like a less sweet yum yum sauce, which in my opinion should definitely not go on blue fin. Blue fin should be very minimalistic. After all bluefin is very expensive, I want to enjoy what bluefin taste like and not what it taste like with a cheap sauce on it.
The chicken liver parfait was one of the worst things I've ever ordered at a restaurant. It was like a meat jelly, or patte with another type of red fruit jelly on top laid over pistachio puree. The flavors did not blend well at all. One bite made me want to vomit, it was that bad. I couldn't force myself to finish it.
The flat iron I expected to melt in my mouth, even though it's a very cheap piece of meat. Maybe I was foolish to think that, but given the price they are charging i thought they must have known some kind of secret to make it the best flat iron in the world. It was not tender in the slightest. The sauce used on the flat iron was mediocre. It was unique though, and it wasn't bad, I just would never order it again nor pair it with steak. The lemon tart was very basic and just mediocre, would not order it again. Also my family members all ordered different items as well. The red snapper was fishy and covered in sauce. We didn't try one thing that we would write home about. The portion sizes are very small and we all still had leftover food when we sent our plates back if that tells you anything... Overall, it was a huge let down, not sure who is giving this place good reviews, my guess is it's a place for artsy fartsy people to go be boujie and drink wine at a 4x mark up. I'm sorry but if I spend just over $400 for a meal for 4 people, I want to be blown away by how good the food taste and we just didn't get that. No one liked anything they received. I wouldn't pay $20 to eat there again, let alone over $100 a head. If you want food that will blow you away go a few doors down to the sushi restaurant or macs chophouse, at a fraction of the price too I might add. Oh and btw my brother actually vomited when we got to our car. You've been warned.

Brought my parents and significant other for a meal here and it did not disappoint! We tried snacks, appetizers, mains and desserts. Every bite was flavorful, fresh, precisely seasoned and placed. The complete meal was enjoyed by all, the music was at a nice volume level and the service was spot on as well. We'll be back!!

Spring is a cozy retreat into nearly perfect food and service. Portions are on the small side, but packed with quality and layered with unique -and often surprising- flavors. I believe the menu changes four times a year, and there are around three choices per course. As for the overall experience: I don’t know if this is Michelin star restaurant, but if any restaurant in Cobb deserves a star or two, this one does. The service is exceptional; with excellent pacing and attention to detail. The food & drink always surprises and delights.

Can’t say enough great things about Spring. It’s rare when you go to a restaurant and it feels like a special, unique experience. This was Spring. The food was absolutely outstanding, our server Josh was extremely knowledgeable about Wines (which was also outstanding) and the menu. The chef really knows flavor!!
Do yourself a favor and check out this gem. Can’t reccomend enough

We had a wonderful time at Spring in Marietta. The food was delightful, and the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating.
Snacks: The light and crispy fried oysters, the tangy umami of the soy, and the beautiful herbal green parsley sauce exceeded my expectations. The deep-colored seared tuna was perfectly prepared with a buttery texture, paired with the savory heat of the bright red chili oil – truly delectable.
Mains: The flakey red snapper and thin, crispy eggplant, combined with the snap of the squash, sit on a creamy tomato sauce, creating an exciting and satisfying bite full of texture. Our 'turf' was grilled to pink perfection with a peppery crust paired with the grilled bright and sharp banana pepper wearing its smokey black char. The flatiron shared the plate with this season's beans and peas, bringing the snap and freshness of eating veg fresh off the vine. The pistou (Parisian pesto) rounded out the dish with the herbal sweet anise notes from the basil and garlic-infused oil that coated the moth wonderfully.
Dessert: We finished the dinner with the multilayer sorbet. The palette of white, greens, and yellows combined with the scents of fresh melon completed the sensory experience of a delightful dessert's cold cream and sweet, honeyed flavors.
The star of the show had to be the silky, almost yeasty foie gras pate. The pate, drizzled with the rich plum reduction and sprinkled with crunchy pistachios, found its way to the fluffy, sugary milk bread and laid to rest any doubt one could have about foie gras. Do not leave without ordering this wonderful treat.
Dietary restrictions: Accommodated our dairy free life style!
