⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I tried the Polk Bowl at Taqueria Tsunami, and it was absolutely delicious! The fish was fresh, the flavors were perfectly balanced, and the presentation was beautiful. I love how they combine Latin and Asian influences — it’s such a unique twist that totally works. Great service and fun atmosphere, too. Definitely coming back for more!

My husband and I stopped in between gigs and were craving tacos. We found Taqueria Tsunami and were instantly excited about the menu a fun mix of Mexican and Asian-inspired tacos.
I ordered the blackened halibut taco and the Guindo taco (without queso dairy and I don’t get along), plus the yuca fries. Everything was full of flavor, especially those fries crispy, seasoned perfectly, and seriously addictive.
We ordered to-go and met the owner and his son while picking up our food. They were friendly and welcoming, and the place was buzzing with people clearly a local favorite. Efficient service, great food, and a creative menu. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their eclectic taco options.

STRIKE NUMBER 1. STRIKE NUMBER 2 THE WHITE MAN JACKED THE FOOD RIGHT OUT OF MY HAND, THAT WAS SO UNCALLED FOR. THAT WAS NOT GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. AT THIS POINT THIS IS A PLACE WHERE MY PEOPLE DOES NOT BELONG IF YOU TREAT PAYING CUSTOMERS OR DOOR DASHER THIS WAY. I WOULD RATE THIS RESTAURANT A ZERO STARS. I have to say that the service and food were both phenomenal from Tacqueria Tsunami! They do cater and that is what I am here to write about! First, the process was incredibly simple and easy working with Nate to get things quoted and booked for our housewarming party, and he was very helpful as we had a vegan crowd too.
Now to get to the day of the event! Natalie and Zicari both arrived early (not hyper early but right when we were getting all the finishing touches ready for our pirate themed party), and immediately assessed our location and where best to store everything for the best experience for our guests. Their mindset truly exemplified professional service and set an amazing tone for the party.
I'd say the food is phenomenal, and I hope by now that goes without saying! I think there are two kinds of people, ones who haven't tried the food at Tacqueria Tsunami, and those who know the food is fantastic!
5 Stars isn't enough, and I will certainly book again!
