First time at Tassa's. Great customer service and also met the owner. Had the goat roti which was amazing! Definitely will return. It was great to view the celebrity photo wall. Restaurant has great colorful island cozy atmosphere. Can't wait to return. for dine in.

Cafeteria style ordering and seating. There is a menu and buffet. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly and enthusiastically explained all of the food options. We decided on the buffet so we could try it all. Not disappointed! The food is SUPER. Laid back atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

I used to rate this place, but lately? It’s not giving what it used to. The roti feel like it shrinks every time I come, and the curry was very watery, where’s the richness? Paid $4.99 extra for pumpkin and got two spoonfuls if I’m lucky. I don’t mind paying if the food slap, but this wasn’t it. Sad to say, the quality just not holding up like before.
Edit 07/2025 AGAIN this place is NOT a clean place to eat at in my firm opinion ‼️‼️‼️ Against my advice My friend wanted to try here after Guy Ferrari visit aired (SN shame on him for promoting this place but maybe they didn't show him this side) .. the line was long I assume because of the show, we watched one of the cooks come out of the kitchen plate on hand LICKING HIS FINGERS. Okay cool he was on his lunch break... he sat like behind the line ate, then went out the door by the parking lot to smoke. HE THEN CAME BACK IN AND WENT RIGHT BACK INTO THE KITCHEN AND STARTED HANDLING FOOD STUFF AGAIN with his UNWASHED LICKED FINGERS... Just YYUUCCCKKKKK so some ppl definitely had his saliva in there food that day... EAT HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK...
I'm probably extra picky BUT THAT LADY (Seemed to be the owner) AT THE COUNTER WAS DISGUSTING IMHO... NO GLOVES, SCRATCHING HER HAIR THEN STIRRING THE FOOD ON DISPLAY WITH THE SAME HAND.. JUST 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮. and my opinion is the place looks way too messy... but hey I watch all that crap extra hard when I go out so it might just be me... BUT IM NOT PAYING TO EAT ANYONE'S DRY SCALP.. and I always say if you do that INFRONT OF ME, what you doing when I can't see... hard pass for me, I wanted to support tho...

First time here and I’ll say the food wasn’t bad and you get good bang for your buck with the buffet option. Tried a little bit of all the proteins available and my favorite was the stewed pork. The jerk chicken was spicy but wasn’t as flavorful once you got past the first layer. The stewed/ curry chicken and beef were well seasoned and pretty good. The rice and Mac and cheese were bland but the roti on the side was fresh, hot, and soft.

The food was decent tasting but my boyfriend and I experienced extreme discomfort and diarrhea after eating it. Everyone was nice in terms of service. Loved the atmosphere. My only complaint was the contaminants in whatever we ate. It was our 1st meal of the day, my bf felt awful immediately after eating. My digestive system took a little longer but glad it’s over. Won’t be back. Nice people though.
