Google says open at 11 on Sunday. I'm here at 11:15 and been standing outside. Still not opened. Someone walked to the back and never returned.

By far the WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced!!! Being African American, I love to patronize our people business, but this place would make it hard to come back! Let’s start with ZERO greeting when you enter and after standing at the register and counter to view the food. The food was basic, nothing special so I would think that they would make up for it with customer service. There are tons of southern restaurants in the city and outskirts, they should really start acting like it!

The server behind the food warmer kept talking to her friend as I entered the building until her friend left the building. I was not acknowledged or greeted during the entire time, as I stood there looking at the cruddy, greasy, old , horrible looking food. On top of that, she answered the phone while I'm standing there asking questions about frying chicken wings. Her personality or lack thereof, was about uninviting as the food looked. I quietly exited the building while she was on the phone. Patronize your own? Black Business? Where? I'm no longer concerned. Smh

Walked in there establishment and was not greeted at all. In the corner of the restaurant the chef was actually laid out sleeping in one of the booths where customers eat. While I was in the restaurant waiting for my food the entire time he would yell obnoxiously at the cashier and the cashier gave the feeling like he would rather be any other place, but working there. I did not get the impression like they appreciate anyone’s business. Plenty of restaurants in Atlanta to go to besides this one don’t waste your time. Lastly, the food was very mediocre and looked like it had been sitting for hours.

I want to like this place so badly, but I just can't. They were way better when they were up on Fairground, but now they've got higher prices and awful customer service. When I went today, they were out of everything: lemonade, punch, chicken wings, cabbage, cornbread, and probably more that I didn't ask about. And I had already paid for my cornbread before they told me they didn't have any. It's just awful. Save your time and money and go elsewhere

I have been passing this place and finally decided to stop by because I was craving some good fried fish. I happened to walk in on Friday at the right time because new pans of food were coming out. The fried catfish is cooked to order, always a plus, and I heard the wings are too. There were some regular customers in there that raved about some of the sides, so I got canned yams (so damn good), cabbage (yesssss another good one) and then added a side of black eyed peas and collard greens (both were straight but nothing special. However, when I put that cornbread with the black eyed peas and ate the greens with the cabbage, it was delicious. Now, I didn't have to wait long for the fried fish, so I'll probably be back when I want some fried fish because the 2 fillets were a nice portion size, too. And suggestion, if you go in and you questioning if it's good, just ask to sample or see if a fresh pan is coming out soon bc it probably is. Give them a try for yourself.

Today was my first visit to The Mana House Cafe. I was very much impressed with the cleanliness of the restaurant but, more importantly, the friendliness and professionalism of the staff.

The food was fresh, cooked to order and reasonably priced. The meal reminded me so much of the Sunday evening meals of my childhood.

Highly recommended!

Lots of great veggies, not fond of the greens and they were cold, this is the first bad experience I've had and maybe because it was close to closing time, but normally it's a 5 out of 5

Sooooo… I had been craving some home cooked soul food after church, but I didn’t feel like cooking.. I got on google and the Manna House had ALMOST 5 STARS!!! We get there and the atmosphere is nice but the restaurant was empty. The food on the hot bar look questionable but the clerk assured me it was fresh. I ordered the 3wing Fried Chicken plate with mac n cheese, dressing and a side of yams.. the other plate was Smothered Pork chops over white rice … with mac n cheese yams and a side of cabbage. OMG the food was horrible for $50 bucks… everything was STRAIGHT TRASH!!! GARBAGE and that’s where it went!!! I hate wasting money but I took that L. The wings were the freshest thing on the plate!!! The cabbage was unseasoned.. the mac n cheese was watered down disgusting!! The pork chops were old and tuff. The dressing was dry and old and the yams were sweet on the outside!!! 10 out of 10 I DONT RECOMMEND!!! I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN!!!

First time eating here. Ordered to go over the phone. Friendly pleasant customer service. Ordered chopped steak/rice - beef was processed meat not homemade/fresh ground beef, rice was crunchy and undercooked. ☹️
Yams, greens, and mac & cheese were pretty good. ?

If you're looking for a soul food spot with excellent service and delicious food. The Manna House Cafe is the place to be. They even gave me a military discount. Now great food isn't cheap so bring more than 20 dollars.
