By far the WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced!!! Being African American, I love to patronize our people business, but this place would make it hard to come back! Let’s start with ZERO greeting when you enter and after standing at the register and counter to view the food. I have been passing this place and finally decided to stop by because I was craving some good fried fish. I happened to walk in on Friday at the right time because new pans of food were coming out. The fried catfish is cooked to order, always a plus, and I heard the wings are too. There were some regular customers in there that raved about some of the sides, so I got canned yams (so damn good), cabbage (yesssss another good one) and then added a side of black eyed peas and collard...
Today was my first visit to The Mana House Cafe. I was very much impressed with the cleanliness of the restaurant but, more importantly, the friendliness and professionalism of the staff.
The food was fresh, cooked to order and reasonably priced. The meal reminded me so much of the Sunday evening meals of my childhood.
