I love this place! Great hometown feel and wonderful, fresh food delivered with a smile. The homey decor inside makes you feel welcome.
Everything I try is great. Good prices.
It's always great to support hometown local businesses.

Local spot that seems very popular. Food and service was decent.

Stopped by today for chicken egg and cheese biscuit! Same price as Chik Fil a but much better quality and ingredients!
Fresh biscuit and real egg not from liquid eggs!
I’m going to be a regular here!!

This hidden gem of a brunch spot in N Marietta on Canton s my favorite diner in town. They don’t do any delivery apps and the food is great right from a scratch kitchen. Worth coming here on your way to Downtown Woodstock or US 92 shops. I love their pimento, bacon and fried green tomato biscuit, breakfast burritos, pancakes, cheesy grits and skillets. Have not tried their Chicago inspired lunches yet but I will.

I love the avocado toast. They bring in 20 fresh avocados every day.

And the owner is generally on site to ensure great food and service.

Highly recommend.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews for small businesses, but unfortunately Windy City Grill earned this one today. The food is fine, but the kitchen was extremely backed up, and the wait staff didn’t keep guests updated on delays. We waited over an hour for basic breakfast food, and if it’s going to take that long, at least offer WiFi so customers can pass the time.

When the food finally arrived, the country fried steak was clearly frozen and soggy, and we even had to wave someone down to get water refills. I have tried this place several times and really wanted to like it, but service, timing, food, and communication need serious improvement.

As always I rate places based on their status and this is a Mom & Pop establishment.

First is the atmosphere. The inside and outside was really clean! I did not go to the restrooms so I cannot speak to that. I did take off 1 star as there were random things out, like in the pic of the bar, but nothing too drastic. Would have only taken a 1/2 but that's not an option here.

The food was extremely fresh! The portions were great, minus the turkey sausage, and everything was brought out really quick. Took off 1 star, again would have only done a 1/2, for the fact that my pancake was lukewarm on the verge of cold and I did not like the grits at all. I believe that they just didn't time bringing the pancake well and I'm not a grit connoisseur so maybe someone likes them. Lastly, I liked the fact that the veggies were fresh and not heavily seasoned. Side note, I believe the pancakes are box pancakes but they were made well.

The staff were really quick, attentive, and efficient. He noticed I stopped looking at my menu and came directly over to take my order. I believe it was only him and the lady in the back cook and my food still came out extremely fast.

All in all I feel it is a great place to try and has exceptional quantity and pricing for an establishment in Atlanta.

TL;DR:
Overall, the food was pretty decent for the price, but do not expect it to be a quick bite.

We arrived at 11:15am and it was fairly busy but there were still a couple of tables open and we were seated right away. It took about 5 minutes for our drinks, however the waitress asked the other two in my party what they would like to drink to which they ordered coffee but then never actually asked what I wanted and instead just brought me coffee. The coffee itself was ok, a little burnt but not undrinkable. Then we waited and waited and waited. It wasn't until 12:18pm that our food arrived (1h 3m). The food was decent albeit quite greasy; I ordered the Italian omelette which was packed full of the listed ingredients and the portions were fairly reasonable as well. The toast was surprisingly very crunchy and the hasbrowns tasted as expected. I would give it a 3/5 for the food to price is reasonable but the service and wait times could definitely use some work.

Service is awful, every time we come the waitstaff is atrocious. We waited 15 minutes and she never even brought a menu. The food is great, wait staff is just garbage.

In the mood for something different. The Texas burger was superb. Far exceeding more recent burgers that I've. My brother had the Thai chicken salad, which he enjoyed a lot. Breakfast (which is served all day) items got my attention, so we'll be back.
