Cheesesteaks need to be made on a grill so this place qualifies. None of that heat it up in a microwave or oven stuff. Not the best cheesesteak I've ever had but pretty good (especially at the $9.95 price). Nice that they have the outside porch around back so my pooch can get a taste on our walk

We went in to place an order to go. Got over halfway up the highway before we realized we did not receive the right order after waiting about 30 mins. I called and spoke to Emily, which was the name on my take out receipt. She stated she would let management know and to come by for accomodations. I like to call before I go because I am already an half hour away. Terrible service. Left on hold, bad vibes. As first time customers, we are proudly never going back. Very Rude and Unprofessional.

I am a huge cheesesteak person, I love trying them whenever and wherever I go and when I saw Woodys opening on the square I literally told people about it for months about how excited I was. Today finally the stars aligned and I was able to go, I got a cheesesteak with mushrooms, peppers, onions, and cheese and it was quick service, polite, and we got our food so fast. It was so good! A great amount of cheese, well cooked meat, everything was perfect. I loved the bread too. It doesn’t have mayo which many consider more of a classic Philly, but I don’t prefer that if there is enough cheese. My husband got the same as me but chicken and he said it was great too. This is going to be my regular spot for cheesesteaks! Finally! Thank goodness for Woodys!
Just keep in mind it’s narrow so your stroller might be a hard one to navigate
I’m sorry to say that my Woody’s experience was not good at all. I know cheesesteaks, having lived in the metro Philly area and enjoyed South Street’s cuisine. What I got at Woody’s was nothing close to a flavorful cheesesteak. The meat was more steamed than grilled, the flavors from the oils and carmelization were not present, even the color of the meat was wrong. Sorry to say the potato wedges were just as sorry and soggy. None of this poor excuse for a cheesesteak came cheap as lunch for two was over $30. You can get great cheesesteaks in Atlanta, just not at Woody’s.

Ordered through doordash! They did not disappoint. The food was good! Glad I added on fries cause those do not come with the sandwich. The bag comes stapled so the drivers can't tamper with food.
