“We travelled all day on Christmas & needed to get dinner somewhere. Sunny Wok was the only place on this side of town open and it has great reviews. I placed an online order. Due to the high volume of people placing orders online, by phone, and even in store, it still only took an hour and our food was fresh, hot, and delicious. This place has been down the street from us for years and I can’t believe it took us so long to try it. We will be repeat customers for sure!“

“I don’t normally give ratings but I have to give Sole two thumbs up and ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️’s. We celebrated my son’s birthday there last night with a party of 16 and the food and service was fantastic. Our waitress was awesome, very attentive and made my son’s birthday dinner a big success. The floor manager checked in with us several times, was very friendly and made sure our experience was great! The apps and the entrees were awesome, they were served in a timely manner and every order was perfect! Job well done! Thank you, Gary Roberts!“

“The food was very delicious. I highly recommend the Susan roll and the dumplings. Our waitress Jasmine was very knowledgeable about the menu…plus she is my birthday twin!!! They also have many great flavors of beer. You will not be disappointed in the food, the atmosphere or the staff!!! Five stars all around :)“

“Wow. First time. Food was fresh. This is more of a sushi buffet then anything else. They have other food on the buffet, but mainly sushi. For $20, this is a deal breaker. Cant beat that kind of quality for $20. Definatly will be coming back“

“Overall experience so good they deserve this review. I need to let the public know who well run this small business is. I have been here at least 3 times in the past month and I will be a loyal customer in the future if they stay exactly the same. They are doing some important things correct yall. For me a restaurant’s health score is #1. Restaurants that don’t post it or try to hide it in plain site can’t be trusted and they do that FOR A REASON! What the point of good lookn, smell good cheap-food that will make you sick?? But NOT with Yoshi Express, you can see their score up front as you pay; and it is in the high 90’s!!!! I’d you care about your health score you care about your customers— plain and simple.
Next on my list of accomplishments is food freshness, taste, appearance, smell, temperature; and will it be consistently the same every time I order? The is yes! It’s important to me to have fresh ingredients, those mixed vegetables are cooked perfectly and meat and rice is as well too. These items are healthy for you they not deep fried and offer you veggies which we need more of. They cook to order so I don’t mind the wait, happy to do so. The food is on par with the mall’s Japanese; but is so many other ways it’s better—now crowd, it’s closer to my home, and I like to help small businesses thrive in my side of town South Augusta.
Lastly is price and the customer service I receive. Both were great, no rude interaction as of yet and you get an generous portion of food at a reasonable, competitively price and I hope this never changes (I’m talking to you management).
People in South Augusta are looking for healthy food options that taste good and is close to home but in a safe, clean environment though it cannot be overpriced. Nice customer service is a nice added bonus.❤️
In the photos (named in the order in which I posted them): plain Chinese wings, shrimp noodle soup, teriyaki chicken meal/ fried rice veggies, beef lo main, fried crab Rangoon with red sauce, shrimp dumplings, more shrimp noodle soup, teriyaki chicken on stick, brown au jus for the shrimp noodle soup, pepper steak and onion, fried crab meat, and some buffalo wings.“

“I hadn’t been here in years, tonight we popped in tonight for a family dinner. It became very busy very quickly. It was delicious as always, and the service was great - Jailyn was our server, and he took care of us. Very friendly atmosphere. I’m so glad this restaurant is still around and still my favorite hibachi in town.“

“It was out of convenience that we stopped in this location because they are located inside Walmart. We ordered 2 chicken bento boxes. The chicken was well seasoned and tasty. The dumplings were stuffed with goodness and they had the right bite. You know that one bite with the crispy edges. The sushi rolls were ok and the veggies were very fresh. Our bento boxses was filled to the rim. We had great customer service and were satisfied. My only regret is not trying the Boba but I will be back. ❤️“

“this restaurant was amazing! we stopped in while traveling home from vacation and were blown away by the service, speed of food being prepped, flavor, and overall experience! we had the teriyaki chicken plate and the orange chicken plate, both with fried rice and a side of noodles. 10/10 for everything! their veggies were amazing, and a healthy mix— not mainly onion how a lot of restaurants do these days! their white sauce is so yummy and thick— not watery and thin how a lot of places are. i would def recommend this spot, id love to visit again if ever in the area :)
Kid-friendliness: we had our two kiddos with us! one of my kids made a huge mess on the floor with her food, i grabbed the broom to sweep up my mess and the cashier assured me she would do it and parents didnt need to worry about their children being children in public.“
