I literally drive all the way from Statesboro to Augusta just for this place, and it is 100% worth the drive! Their crab rangoons are hands down the BEST, and I could eat their lo mein and sesame chicken with their yum yum every single day. Everything is always fresh and delicious, but what really makes this place special is how sweet the lady up front is! She’s always adding a little something special in my to go order!
Fresh handmade Japanese takeout. The vegetables are hand cut and steamed. The meats are also hand cut. The shrimp tempura is light and delicious. The gyoza is steamed with a browned underside, not fried. The spring roll is also light. Overall the food has layered flavors. Their bento at least is presented to be eaten w chopsticks, but you must ask for them. They prefer not to *add* spice/heat to dishes, but will give you chili oil on request. The chili oil is potent. A small little place that has really great food. There are only 4 small tables inside and people are usually using them to wait for their food. That makes it not really a dine in restaurant, but if you are planning on taking out food I highly recommend. Prices are reasonable and service is okay.
