I came here last night and the food was so good I had to come back again tonight. It’s so good to find a Caribbean place that offers vegetarian options . The black eyed peas were so good. Spinach rice 10/10. Everything overall was delicious. It was also nice to have pleasant people serving

Well, other then one particular young lady, the service was great.
The food is cooked and then left to sit in heaters. My wings were DRY, the plantains were dry, (they replaced the plantains with fresh ones) However, it was obvious to me that if you're able to get the food fresh, it's going to be the absolute BEST! The flavor was EXCELLENT. The patties were DELICIOUS!!!! So.... Other than the one young lady who appeared to be uninterested in serving anyone, everyone else was super nice.

Not going to draw this out so bash, just a simple statement. I purchased a large oxtail dinner yesterday. The experience ended with 2 words FOOD POISON. Take it for what it worth.

I have supported this restaurant since it was owned by a military guy, and that was years ago. Recently the service hasn't been the best. Yesterday the large oxtail plate was full of tiny bones with hardly any meat, and depending on who serves you, I got one plantain. I have stood there numerous times and watched other servers give two. Are you kidding me?!! I also ordered an additional side of cabbage that could have fit in a thimble. I'm sorry but I need to find a restaurant where I can get my money's worth.

I had the curry chicken with rice and peas and cabbage. I have never had salty curry chicken from a restaurant I did not taste any spices from the curry that made it hard to eat. I will not return here.

The food was absolutely delicious. It was hot and tasted freshly made. I purchased a large tray in the hopes of eating some now and the next day but I totally overate, lol. I also don’t eat plantains because they normally taste like bananas to me, but these had a different flavor to them therefore, I was able to take a bite. I will definitely be back. My large oxtail tray plus the macaroni was $34 (not bad at all).

The food is tasty. Service is great and the atmosphere is nice. However, I gave 4 stars because the macaroni is nasty and that’s only because the sharp cheddar they’re using in it. Addictive cooks- balance that flavor out with American cheese and think about using mild cheddar, not sharp.

Went to this place for the first time today and purchased the curry chicken meal that came with rice and peas, cabbage and yellow plantains. The rice and peas was extremely salty with no real flavor and the curry chicken was disgustingly slimy also with no real flavor. I purchased a dessert that I was told was made with cassava, coconut, and evaporated milk. Didn’t realize until I got home that it was actually cassava pone. It was the worst pone I have ever eaten. I actually felt nauseous after eating it. I would not recommend buying food from this place, unless you want to waste your money.

I tried this spot after driving past it for several years and I was not disappointed. The food was excellent. I had oxtails, peas and rice, cabbage and jerk chicken patties. The restaurant was spotless; super clean. The staff was very friendly. The prices was also reasonable. I’ll be back.
