I've only been here 1 yr and I've been looking for a good soul food restaurant and then I found BROWNS KITCHEN IN MCDONOUGH THE FOOD OH GOD THE FOOD IS SOOOOOOO GOOD IT MELTS IN YOUR MOUYH NOT ONLY THAT THEY MAKE THEIR FOOD STRAIGHT FROM STRACTH I NEVER HAD SOUL FOOD AS GOOD AS BROWNS KITCHEN NOW MY MOTHER CAN COOK REALLY GOOD BUT SHE CAN'T TOUCH BROWNS KITCHEN, IF YOU HAVE STOPPED ON BROWNS KITCHEN U SHOULD THE FOOD IS LIKE AMEN
This is the second time my wife and I have been to the restaurant in the past 3 days and the food today (Sunday) is even better than it was on (Friday)!! My wife ordered the smothered pork chops (again)🤣 with collard greens, Mac & cheese and yams. I ordered the baked chicken, Mac & cheese and yams with cornbread muffin! When we went last week I had the fried chicken wings with rice and gravy and yams EVERYTHING IS BOMB!!! The food is HOT AND FRESH, the service is on...
Food was decent, about as good as you can expect considering most soul food restaurants are a hit or miss. I finished my plate; however, the customer service upon entering and ordering was just about nonexistent (wait time was 45+ minutes) and the atmosphere was unwelcoming. I probably wouldn't eat here again but glad to say I tried it. Likely to recommend? 2/5 probably not.
