I typically can describe a restaurant experience easily, but this was so normal that it’s…normal. Not a bad experience but I wasn’t “wow’d” either. I’d eat here again.
Our service was wonderful when placing the order and the clerk answered any questions I had. The food was hot and fresh and was quickly made. The to go order was packaged neatly and the store even included an order of donuts for the kids.
We ordered several orders of sesame chicken, shrimp lo mein, Mongolian shrimp with broccoli, egg drop soup, shrimp rolls, egg rolls. The portions were generous and everything tasted great.

New China 1 is hands down one of the best spots for Chinese takeout in the area! The food is consistently delicious, fresh, and packed with flavor. My go-to order is the General Tso’s Chicken with fried rice, and it’s always cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and the sauce is just the right balance of sweet and spicy.
